Face big, can't text back/easy text. Need to download a different app to use (not through playstore, phones don't like this as it says caution could be corrupt, but once you accept, it's ok. Does give you steps after you scan QR code as you can not find it in okay store) Brought for teenage son, for price should have some sort of text back option especially the basic messages, other then this it's fine. Like the fact you can answer calls and hear and talk to the person on other end. Love the faces, glad to only pay half price. Has heaps of excerise options which is good.

I doubt this would be supported on Apple iPhones in the current state, but I haven't done testing, let alone researched it - double check yourself before purchase.**Having a Huawei phone from the get go that comes pre-installed with these apps probably skips the headache of setting this nightmare up (I have a Samsung Galaxy S10e).-- Onto the watch itself:The Elite comes with the metal band which looks great and all, but if you apply the slightest amount of pressure on the clip it will unclip itself and I have several times now nearly launched it off my arm at the ground. The band feels super cheap and it rips out my arm hair, though after wearing it in I haven't had it rip out any since. The screen looks good and is remarkably tough as I've hit it against things several times now without leaving a scratch, but I wouldn't want to try my luck on the ground from height when the band decides to unclip.Thankfully it appears to be actively supported with regular updates (once you get it working) and with an additional feature already added (Sp02 sensor) and in terms of battery lasts a long time with regular use, after ten days I still had 20% charge (but this is when it's new, time will tell how it holds up). Phone calls are loud and clear and I have had no complaints about the microphone. Bluetooth connection range is large enough for me to walk around the house and go outside without any issues.-- Conclusion:It's a good watch, just let down by everything else: such as the current geo-politics giving it a nightmarish time for setting up the apps which it relies ENTIRELY on for use (YOU CAN'T MANUALLY SET THE TIME!) making this a paper-weight if you can't get it working and the questionable band quality as it pops off my arm without warning, make it impossible to recommend.Unless you're savvy enough to get it working (like me) and are careful while wearing it (unlike me), DO NOT BUY IT!

I received this product as part of a review program in return for an unbiased review.Upon receiving the watch I was really impressed by the traditional look and feel of the watch. I've owned the Samsung Gear Sport in the past and was always a bit embarrassed by the look of it and the Watch GT2 couldn't be more different. The screen is a delight, fantastic at making your skeuomorphic watch face seem real. The watch has a number of useful features that use more than I thought I would. The watch torch for example is weak but nonetheless useful. The calling function works far better than expected, the speaker is loud and clear and I've had no complaints on the other end of the line. Notifications aren't perfect, if you have constant Whatsapp messages from a group they are often grouped so you cannot see the content but on the whole the GT2 does a good job of notifying you of a message, email etc. Since taking delivery of the watch my phone hasn't made a noise, the vibration of the watch is excellent. It's particularly nice not to wake up to an annoying alarm tone. The fitness tracking of the GT2 is impressive and the detailed statistics provided are useful for judging progress. My only criticism is that workouts are not automatically tracked but It soon became muscle memory to push the lower button and select a workout at the beginning of a workout session. GPS tracking has proved accurate and always locks on within a few secondsd but with barely any detail, it simply tells you The most impressive and useful thing about the GT2 is it's endurance. The battery is more than adequate.I don't think there is a better smartwatch for someone coming from a traditional quartz or mechanical watch. The watch will look the part, the battery will last longer than a holiday and the features will impress.

I received this product as part of a review program in return for an unbiased review.I have owned a few high-end smart watches now and have found the GT2 to tick almost all of the boxes I was looking for, to the point that not only is it now my main smart watch, but also my main day to day watch. The GT2 works, right out of the box - no missed notifications, no complex set up.Featuring a 2-week battery life to me was the number one selling point. I was dubious. I've now had this close to a month and have just recharged a second time. Obviously, this is feature dependant, but I've got it on default settings which includes a constant heart rate check. I have twice daily alarms on, I have all message notifications on, step count, calories etc. yet my battery life ... Obviously, this is feature dependant, but I've got it on default settings which includes a constant heart rate check. I have twice daily alarms on, I have all message notifications on, step count, calories etc. yet my battery life goes on.There is no app store with which to connect the watch to, meaning no third party watch faces or apps, which at first is quite frustrating, especially from a stylistic point of view - many of the free faces were not to my taste, however, if really bothered a quick search online will show you how you can use user-made faces. I've stuck with the stock face as it shows me steps, outside temperature, heart rate, date, day & time all on the face.I'm a pretty bad sleeper so use this quite heavily to keep me informed about my night-time movements, amount of time spent awake, light sleeping, getting up to go to the bathroom, even to track my average bedtime.Diving into the sub-menus of the GT2 gets you some very premium features, from different workout activities (15 in total) and sleep records to breathing exercises, call logs and weather forecasts. The menus are very easy to navigate and all work alongside a host of apps including Huawei's own "Health" app.You can change the watch strap to suit (metal, leather, different colours etc.) with a simple 'push-to-release' mechanism. All in all a very nice, stylish-looking, premium smartwatch with the best battery one could ask for.
Pros: When it works properly it is handy to track workouts. Good value overall but not workout its faults. Not the easiest watch to navigate. I've had it 18months Agus still can't workout how to check how much battery life it has without plugging the charger in, not practical when you're away from the charger.Cons: The fitness tracking measures is inconsistently inaccurate and potentially dangerous. Somtimes it will track heart rate and workout effort well, then other times will be way off. For example telling me my heart rate is 67 when I know it's actually 155 checked mabually. In the middle of a workout the watch is then telling you to push harder, which for someone with any heart issues could encourage them to push their heart rate into dangerous zone. I've ... I've tried all the tips about making sure the watch is tight enough etc, but it really shouldn't be this inaccurate. Another example my cycle journey was 500 calories outbound then 110 exact same return journey, really? Do not rely on the metrics of this watch, use it as a guide only with common sense.
I received this product as part of a review program in return for an unbiased review. My biggest gripe with many smartwatches is that they look far too unnatural compared to a non smartwatch, the Huawei Watch GT2 looks very much like a normal designer watch at first glance, it's not too big and the brown leather strap makes it look classy. To pair the watch to your phone and set it up you have to download the Huawei Health app, this is very straightforward. The Huawei Watch GT2 is fairly limited in its functionality compared to some other smartwatches, this is a positive for me because I am not the sort of person that likes all the bells and whistles on a smartwatch. Its main strengths are fitness and health tracking and notification alerts. The watch can also be used to take phone calls and track your sleep patterns. The Huawei Watch GT2 is an excellent fitness companion as I have discovered when going about my daily life, it tracks all your steps and can be used to monitor workouts and sports activities. All the information from the watch is synced to the Huawei Health app on your phone where you can set yourself targets and monitor all your exercises in an easy to understand layout. One of the biggest advantages of having limited functionality is battery life. The battery life on the Huawei Watch GT2 is phenomenal. I have been using the watch for nearly a month now and I have only charged the watch twice in that time. Battery life can be reduced if you use the always on display option but even then you can easily get a week's use between charges, this was a welcome change for me after previously having a smartwatch which had to be charged every single night. So to conclude, if you are after a stylish smartwatch that is a great fitness companion with fantastic battery life, then the Huawei Watch GT2 would be a great purchase. However, if you are after a smartwatch with a bit more functionality, it might be worth looking elsewhere.
Pros: Love this watch. Had a Huawei band before and upgraded to this as I have a Huawei P20 pro phone. Works brilliantly and connects everything to Health app. Comfortable to wear, and looks really nice on. So many sports and other trackers including swimming (stroke rate etc) , extra strap included (black silicon) and looks great also, lots of elegant free faces too. Looks a lot more expensive than it is!Cons: Huawei, please develop a proper tracker for tennis? Also the magnetic charger can be a bit unpredictable. But it's a brilliant watch, especially for the price compared to the two 'trendy' brands.
I received this product as part of a review program in return for an unbiased review. So I've had The HUAWEI watch GT2 fitness watch for around a week now and I think it's absolutely brilliant !The design is really sleek and simple but it's extremely well built and looks expensive,This has changed the way I look at my workouts at home and at the gym..there are many different workout programs to chose from for example running ,which has its own category of 13 different types of running workouts..to indoor and outdoor swimming. The GT 2 has real time heart rate monitoring to track your heartbeat every second of your day, it will keep track of your heart even when your sleeping which is great when your wanting to find out how much sleep you get of a night. It has ... Saying that It wasn't a huge problemAs I was able to switch the watch to my right arm . Keep this in mind if you have tattoos on both arms you won't be able to track any progress with the heart rate monitor. The GT 2 also has call, texting & email alert functions so you'll never miss that important call or a message if your away from your phone. It also has weather function, stopwatch and a really great flashlight built in .The watch even allows you to call from it which I think it a great feature if your on the go.I'm blown away by the battery life as I've not yet had to put it on charge which is amazing as it's used every day the watch certainly lives up to its ALL LIFE BATTERYFeature. The GT 2 has a precise positioning system which supports GPS and GLONASS system which provides precise location services so it will track you where ever you are on your outdoor trail run or workout. One of the greatest features of the watch is it has music playback !.
Great watch for a busy mum working full time. Can accept calls and talk on the watch, play music, battery life is great I can almost wear it all week before it needs charging. It's waterproof so I can jump in the pool or shower with it, especially great with the kids. I set the watch face to a photo I love of my family so I can see it every day. Also does all the other fitness tracking, I mainly use it to track my steps and sleep. Only thing I wish it could do was sent texts aven if they were just auto set ones created in the phone app like my old watch did. I can recieve and read texts on this watch though and reply on my phone when able to. Very happy with it anyway.
Really great watch for my needs. checking time, sleep, workouts, heart rate and stress. it's not a true smart watch with a calculator or games but still great imo, especially when it goes on sale it's 100% worth it for it's battery life and performance imo. Only have to charge it once a week depending on how much I use the workouts tracker. Haven't really tested it with saltwater but have been in a pool and had no issues. I've had mine since July 2020 no issues as far as I can remember, slept with it on almost everyday (for me it's comfortable to sleep with even though it's pretty huge), barely any noticeable scratches, just one tiny scratch when I accidentally ran it along a textured wall. otherwise nice watch, do regret paying for extra warranty which bumped the ...
