Huawei Watch GT 4 46mm - Green Woven Strap

I am using Galaxy Watch6 classic with s23 ultra, and now (to spice things up) another new toy that's really cleverly crafted aesthetically and exceptionally well. Stylishly striking!Been meaning to get another watch and opted for Huawei GT 4 over Amazfit Balance and OnePlus Watch 2. This rainforest green is so cool. Have wanted this since its launching but screen protection and absence of wifi or LTE and Wear OS with Google play store seem a bummer. Awesome watch

I have every smartwatch known to man - this one is my favorite. There are a few issues, such as no Google Wear or payments, but since I don't really care about any of that, I'm all good. The watch faces are awesome, the battery life is BEYOND BELIEF. i can get 14 days battery no problem, when I could barely get 2 days from Samsung watches and 3 days from Ticwatch. The exercise tracking is great, but what I love the most is the sleep tracking. On Samsung watches the sleep tracking was completely inaccurate. This is the first watch I've ever owned that had 100% perfect sleep tracking - it knows when I go to sleep, wake up, and how long I'm in every sleep state. The numbers have proven very accurate. Excellent Watch

Very pleasantly surprised. I purchased this watch because I like the style, and I collect smartwatches. Although there are limits on what this watch can do (it's not Google Wear) it's more than good enough for my needs. It has beautiful watch faces, shows notifications, and I find the sleep monitoring, steps, and health monitoring very accurate - particularly compared to my Samsung Watch 6 Classic. But the absolute best part is the battery life. I kept this watch on my wrist for 12 days and the charge was at 10%. After less than an hour, it was fully charged again and ready for another 2 weeks. This battery life is INSANE. The battery alone is worth the low price of this watch. Greatest of all (it deserves 5 stars because the pros outweigh the cons)

I dislike :The fact that the watch face store has no filters and it makes it impossible to find a watch face that I like based on what I want on it, for example, if I want a watch face that has an AOD version of it and has a classic minimal look, with battery percentage, step count and black color, there is no way to find it. This should be customizable.The fact that most watch faces don't have an AOD version and there is no way to filter out the ones that don't have them.The fact that most watch faces look cheap.The fact that the number of apps in the app gallery is so small. It seems like it's from 15 years ago and could potentially have way more cool stuff.The fact that my training plan won't always sync with the watch and I usually can't start it from the watch.The fact that the find my phone trigger is that loud, it should be crescendo or customizable.The fact that message notifications are mostly blank from the Telegram app (it says Message, but it doesn't show the text).The fact that the glass doesn't have a high standard and is easily scratchable.The thickness is too important.The watch should come with two types of bands (silicone + fabric)The UI design is poor and outdated, it looks like a decade old. It doesn't fit the design of the watch.The size of the text is too big on notifications and should be smaller or customizable.The calculator app shouldn't show 2 lines of decimals on the result. It can be confusing because the second line can be interpreted as the result.The down button is practically useless and should have customizable functions for more quick access. For example, one push, double push, long press. It should be possible to be used as the back button to avoid having to touch the screen.The home menu with all the app tiles looks cheap, the orthogonal grid should be hexagonal and the overall layout should be round and not a square which looks bad on a round screen.

Really nice watch, but just doesn't work.

I cannot knock the look and feel of the watch, is really well put together and looks great.however I cannot help feeling like I have been miss-sold. most of the features of the watch as advertised, just don't work in NZ it seems. the GPS tracking, NFC, additional apps, ECG options are just a list of features that are advertised as being there, but don't work in NZ. Review of HUAWEI Watch GT 4 - Brown, Leather Strap, 46 mm

Very stylish watch that is super comfortable to wear. Very easy to set up and battery life is brilliant (really not hard to get 14 days as claimed). The health data generated is remarkably detailed and the prompts to get you moving are not too annoying! GPS connection is a little slow but for me that is no problem.So why only 4 stars? Well it has its own OS so integration with android and IOS is weak. So I do get notifications from BBC news but not Google for example. If you want to use your watch to pay for stuff (I don't!) then again apple or Google won't work.So... I think it is a great watch but it is a bit limited for some potential users.

Review of HUAWEI Watch GT 4 - Green, 46 mm

Excellent smart watch at a good price. Came with a free digital bathroom smart weighing scales and a £30 Currys Voucher which should be received any day. Watch has a very good display with numerous free watch faces and dozens of paid watch faces also. The GT4 tracks all the usual metrics and appears to be very accurate. Huawei Health App is easy to navigate and links to Strava now. Battery life is exceptionally good and even with the always on display selected, it still lasts a week in between charges. Without AOD it lasts two weeks.
