These were quite basic, decent to hold good amount of urine. The waist tape is quite elastic, however the size is a little smaller than other brand hence you may need to size up quicker. It can hold poo alright but my bub get nappy rash easily with poo eventhough we did changed it quickly. I would suggest to change this nappy more frequently.

Bought these a few times when our usual Huggies nappies that we buy weren’t on sale. These are still good Huggies quality but not as good as the ultra dry or ultimate nappies in the Huggies range. These are the cheapest in the range.Perhaps a little smaller in sizing compared to the other Huggies nappies. Not as soft or thick. Plainer packaging and designs on nappies, hence the cheaper cost for more nappies in a pack.Good for emergencies.

I bought this nappy for my baby to try when she was around 3 month old. From 0-3 months she was using the original huggies nappy which I found great, but a bit too bulky when she become more active. This nappy is absolutely great for my active baby. I notice that it’s more comfortable for her to move around when she’s wearing this nappy as it is thinner than the original one but still LEAKPROOF when we put it correctly. Now I’m using this during the day, and the ultimate one at night. The material is not as good as the ultimate/original one, but still fine.

Huggies Essentials nappies are great affordable nappies for everyday. They only come in tab form though, which can be a bit dangerous when you have a toddler who loves to pull the tabs! I wouldn’t use these for overnight, as they don’t hold enough wee and will leak overnight. But they’re great for the day time where you change them so often.
Trialing many different nappies on our newborn, I found these not as soft and absorbent as others. I found these didnt hold up against those nasty poop explosions and I’d have to have a full outfit change when that occurred. As our little one grew and nappies were of a shortage I had to purchase these ones again. I found the next sizes up of this brand were not as bad as having them on a newborn. They fit better and we’re not as bulky. I believe they still don’t absorbs as much as other nappies but for a cheaper price they do the job and I would recommend them for day time use, just change them frequently or when needed.
We love using these for our girl. They never break her out, they seem super comfortable, and they automatically have the blow out flaps on the side of the leg out so you don’t have to mess with it after putting the diaper on! We have still had blow outs unfortunately but it’s all apart of being a baby anyways. If it totally prevented them I would give 5 stars but overall I still recommend
I moved to these nappies when I needed to cut a couple dollars out here and there - not wanting to sacrifice too much quality, I stayed with the same brand I liked. These are the same price everywhere, which is great, even though they aren't available everywhere they were still available close by. The nappy itself is similar to the ultra dry, only without the extra "soft" feel to it. The wetness indicator works well, the nappy itself holds a fair amount and hasn't leaked or burst on me yet - once full however, the nappy starts to look "dirty" though it doesn't affect the use. I like the cute patterns, and that they're random even in the same size. They do run a bit smaller than ultra dry nappies, but no different to other cheap nappies running square or small.
I bought these as they were cheaper then the normal huggies I buy, I wasn’t expecting the nappy I bought but was not disappointed either. They don’t have that thick padding I find the other huggies have but I have had no leak through between a good 12hr change. I find it holds wees and poos well. No offensive smell some other nappy brands have. Whether coinsidence or not, my little one doesn’t wake wanting a change either. These hold the moisture quite well and draw it away from the skin. Some nights with other brands or huggies, he feels “sweaty” from the nappy moisture. Would definitely buy again.
Honestly Huggies is a premium brand and we used the newborn one when she's tiny. Recently we ran out our Rascal so I thought to go back to Huggies and this one is so cheap. So young so naive. There is a reason why it's so cheap. It leaks every single time. It's light and absorbant when baby is still, but babies don't stay still. My little one rolls and grabs her feet a lot, and it leaked through to her back and wet her clothes. I believe the vacro is too skinny and back is low. Overall, very disappointing and a waste of money. Unless your baby is very heavy and does not like moving, although when does that happen.
I always used the Huggies ultra dry and occasionally the Aldi nappies. I tried these to try save some money and honestly I didn’t notice any difference other then they being a little longer. They still have the wetness indicator and we haven’t had any leaks at all. Given the recent increased cost of nappies these are a good option to save some money every day.
