We've had issues with some nappies/nappy pants in the past giving my son nappy rash but no issues with these nappy pants. They give great coverage (no nappy pants g-strings here) and feel sturdy. Some might prefer a little more flexibility but they are still flexible enough to seem comfortable while giving me confidence they will stay in place and do their job. There are times that she is constipated and couldn't poo for a day, and when she does poo the next day it is always a big one. This nappy has double protection to prevent from leakage. We used these nappies because they WERE hands down the best nappies on the market. Then the “new and improved” change came along and I can tell you right now- they WERE the ultimate. Now they are some cheap as (you finish the sentence).They leak after one pee. No way that’s staying dry for a whole nap yet along a whole night. The sizing is way way smaller than it was- literally have to start tearing the leg holes so my poor girl can wear them (she is 2!!!) the waist bands have shrunk and the length from front to back has too! I felt they definitely absorbed the liquid better because my sons nappy rash was reduced drastically and then improved to have none. My son sleeps right through and the ultimate nappy pants held it all in until change time in the morning. The ultimate nappy also seems thinner than the traditional huggies which bub seemed to love. I was really grateful to try the Huggies Ultimate pull-ups, which I hadn’t used before. They felt like a premium product (which I would expect for the price) and were very soft compared to what we normally use. The sizing was generous, they almost looked like the next size up from what my toddler currently wears, but they fit well and we didn’t experience any leaks or explosions. They stayed up even when very full, and were very absorbent. Easy to rip the sides to remove, which is a must-have with a wriggly toddler! I purchased the Huggies Ultimate Nappy Pants when the usual nappy I use was out of stock. I didn't realise I had grabbed the nappy pant box until I had opened them up, but they did not disappoint. My daughter is 1 year old and crawling (almost walking) so I thought she would be ready for nappy pants. These nappies are very soft to touch and gentle on the skin, which is a bonus as my daughter has sensitive skin. So far I haven't had any issues with leaks which is a bonus. I find they aren't as bulky when full compared to the Huggies girls' nappies. Only negatives is there is no wetness indicator and they are dearer than other nappies.
