This scent is a pretty solid addition to the Hugo Boss line; however it is not my favorite from this House. The scent appears to start and finish in the exact same style, it doesn't change much throughout the wear. The scent is somewhat spicy, leathery, yet still soft and subtle. Don't get me wrong this is a good scent; it just isn't the best I've ever had. The performance is decent. The price point is fair for what you get. The iris was wrongly paired with the incense accord that instead of producing a Dior Homme effect, Boss Bottled Parfum produced a mass-appealing scent that is not to be worn by a man seeking control. I did not get any fig tree root accord or whatever that means. Cedarwood notes were present in the basenotes but the heart was overwhelmed by the incense that is used wrongly in every sense of the word. It is unfortunate to report that this belonged to the unfortunate mass-targeting market - alienating the fragrance lovers who were excited for more of what the previous iterations of the Boss Bottled fragrance line had to offer next.

This smells great and a nice changed for the Boss Bottled line. This uses fig to give a dry, earthy, very interesring scent. In the dry down, I get a softer mix of leather, woods, fig, and powdery iris. It's very wearable and perfect for colder weather or rainy days or any evening occasion. This has nothing in common with any other Boss Bottled release as this drops the apple feel for more woody type vibe. The projection is decent, it's not a room filler but that makes it all the more wearable during the day. The longevity is awesome lasting a good 8 hours even if it's not projecting that hard but sitting within a nice scent bubble. I highly recommend getting your nose on this one.

Once you have applied makeup over this moisturizer, does the sun protection still apply According to dermatologists, you need to apply sun screen lotion or cream under the moisturizer for a good effect. And, the directions say to apply every two hours if going into the sun.This moisturizer has a pump effect which is appreciated. The moisturizer has a very slight scent that I like. Heavy or even light perfume scented moisturizers are a real turn off for me. I like the scent, the fact that the moisturizer does leave my skin feeling smooth. I did inadvertently get a small amount into my eye, and even though I rinsed it thoroughly with water several times, it did leave an irritating feeling for 30 minutes or so. The next day my eyes were fine. This is a clean, fresh scent for men that is ideal as an every day, workinghours cologne.I was expecting this fragrance to tilt more toward the dark, musky side when I ordered it, but I was pleased to find that its quite the opposite of that. This scent light, clean and Id say almost energetic. It has clean soap smell with a hint of citrus. I sort of feel like its close to a scent that would be used at a spa while you get a restorative massage or something. If you give yourself 1 or 2 sprays, the smell doesnt overwhelm either. I asked 5 female friends to give me their opinions of it and they all strongly approved and liked it in the 4 or 5 star range.As sort of a nice bonus, the bottle is pretty cool.
