Hugo Boss Bottled Parfum 50ml

A more mature and masculine take on an iris (orris) scent. It's powdery but not overly, there is some incense but not much. It's a safe scent with good longevity .... kind of boring though. It could have been more; it could have been a lot louder and robust. If you're in the market for a cool weather/office scent and want a safe bet, this could be a good option. I would go heavier on the sprays or layer with a similar but louder scent (Mercedes Club Black, Azzaro Most Wanted). Appropriate for dressier occasions like a work party and an evening out. I would only buy this if it was on sale though... Overall: 7/10 Longevity : 5-6hrs Sillage: 2ft radius

Really nice fragrance. To me this is a step away from Boss releases. You might be looking at buying this if you like the original Boss Bottled, but Boss has you fooled. This smells nothing like the original! Really nice alluring scent. It opens with an orange accord, with a bit of sweetness. Going into the mid, the sweetness dies down a bit, and I get a fantastic leather and cedar accord going into the dry down. It’s not overpowering, but definitively masculine in profile. Just because Boss went a different way with this one than the original, it’s still a great fragrance all on it’s on. It lasted around 5 hours on my skin. 8/10

The best thing about this fragrance is when you first smell it, it’s masculine. It’s also has a spicy and intense smell to it. I have only used it a few times, for special occasions. I have noticed that the fragrance does not last that long like other fragrances I’ve used. I think that this fragrance would be good if you wanted to used it for a few hours, but not all night or day. I don’t think I would recommend this to my family and friends for that reason. I like high quality fragrances and this is not one of them. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes.

This is a very nice cologne, but it’s not going to win any awards for uniqueness. It has a woody and leather base, so it smells similar to a lot of other colognes out there. I don’t see that as a bad thing though because It hits me with some nostalgia. I get some mandarin, fruity sweetness at first and the iris as it mellows. It’s a very well blended woody cologne that will last all day on you. My husband has had good lasting power with this, even with taking a sweatshirt on and off throughout the day. The projection is nice without being overpowering. I can smell it on him without feeling like it fills the room. This will be really nice during the fall and winter. It smells very cozy. I would consider this a safe buy as a gift.

Ok I have to say this product was just ok. My biggest problem is that this was hard to review. They sent me this tiny sample bottle, and it just wasn’t enough to come to a firm conclusion. At first I hated this. It had a strong chemical smell to it. I Couldn’t make out exactly what it was. Then the next day, the hoodie j was wearing had a good clean scent to it from this cologne. I still can’t say exactly what it was, so I tried it again. Same result. Initially I didn’t like it, but after it was on my clothes for a bit it smelled better. I didn’t like It in my skin though. The scent appears to start and finish in the exact same style, it doesn't change much throughout the wear. The scent is somewhat spicy, leathery, yet still soft and subtle. Don't get me wrong this is a good scent; it just isn't the best I've ever had. The performance is decent. The price point is fair for what you get. Back in college my favorite go-to fragrance was Hugo by Hugo Boss. I loved the bottle with its canvas strap. It felt very young, fresh, and cool (and made me feel the same way too!) I tried Boss Bottled at the time and felt it was a little too stiff and starchy for my taste. Fast forward 20 years and here we are! Trying Boss Bottled for the first time in decades! It’s less spicy than I remember, more fresh and I’m picking up notes of my favorite scents like vanilla and cedar. It wears well, and settles on the skin with good (but not obnoxious) projection. It’s definitely a fragrance I could grow to love but will it ever become a signature scent, like Hugo did all those years ago? I guess I’ll have to wait and see!

The iris was wrongly paired with the incense accord that instead of producing a Dior Homme effect, Boss Bottled Parfum produced a mass-appealing scent that is not to be worn by a man seeking control. I did not get any fig tree root accord or whatever that means. Cedarwood notes were present in the basenotes but the heart was overwhelmed by the incense that is used wrongly in every sense of the word. It is unfortunate to report that this belonged to the unfortunate mass-targeting market - alienating the fragrance lovers who were excited for more of what the previous iterations of the Boss Bottled fragrance line had to offer next.

This smells great and a nice changed for the Boss Bottled line. This uses fig to give a dry, earthy, very interesring scent. In the dry down, I get a softer mix of leather, woods, fig, and powdery iris. It's very wearable and perfect for colder weather or rainy days or any evening occasion. This has nothing in common with any other Boss Bottled release as this drops the apple feel for more woody type vibe. The projection is decent, it's not a room filler but that makes it all the more wearable during the day. The longevity is awesome lasting a good 8 hours even if it's not projecting that hard but sitting within a nice scent bubble. I highly recommend getting your nose on this one.

Very good smelling product by Hugo boss. I instantly fell in love with this fragrance dna in all honesty. Very alluring to me and has me continually smelling where I applied. Very clean smelling with an ever to slight smoky vibe. Get a touch of the mandarin. In between being for the younger crowd and the mature crowd and would say a safe where for any man. Not offensive at all. Would def have a bottle of this at the right price but wouldn’t give over 70-80 dollars for it. Only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact it’s longevity is poor which is sad for a parfum concentration…overall a very good fragrance and would recommend anyone to try it!!
