Huion Kamvas Pro 12 Tablet

I've been doing traditional pen and paper artwork from a very young age and tried getting into the digital art scheme with drawing tablets - however, I could only get the ones with no display. I resorted to using my mouse to do drawings digitally which took twice the amount of time it takes with this tablet.It feels like using a pen and paper - you can look at the screen, you can rely on the handy "Ctrl + Z" option instead of butchering your work with an eraser like traditional. It has all the perks of the traditional pen and paper with the perks of digital art. I am normally very careful when purchasing tech online but as I have never had any issues with PB Tech in the past I didn't do my homework as well as I should have. Unfortunately this is not the current model of the product, my prior experience with PB Tech is when a product is not a current model, they normally specify it, so when I was looking up specs on the Huion website, the information didn't reflect the product I was actually purchasing. The specific issue I have is the 3-way cable requires an HDMI connection for the monitor to work and none of our devices have an HDMI port to connect to. After research, it appears that an HDMI to USB adapter is going to work so I have just purchased this at an additional cost of $53 plus delivery, I haven't received it so I have my fingers crossed! As you can imagine I'm really gutted but I do wear responsibility as for the first (and last time) I didn't do my homework as well as I should have.

I purchased this device for photo editing with lightroom. Firstly, connecting it to the M1 devices is a hassle. I had to buy a dongle. Secondly, even after trying multiple drivers and cables, the connection drops intermittently. The pencil does not work well with the M1 Macs. I am returning mine.

I got this product a month ago and it worked as advertised. Couldn't configure lightroom to be in a smaller version for the screen but photoshop worked great. You have to calibrate the pen everytime you turn in on. It's a little bit off the pen but just for a bit. It's a great budget drawing tablet with a screen.

I decided to make a start getting into digital art and after looking at various options I settled on this tablet given the very reasonable price. It works great and is a convenient size for moving it around as I generally use it with a laptop. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking at a beginner display drawing tablet.

Better than expected

I had my doubts about trying a product that's less recommended than Wacom, but after having a Wacom Bamboo and Intuos, I much prefer this tablet! I can't afford a Cintiq to compare it to that, so my preference may simply be over a screen display over a flat pad. Performance wise, my only complaint is the cursor gets away from the physical pen tip a bit, but it just requires a quick recallibration, so I can live with it. If you're wanting to step up from a pad to a screen, Huion has some great products.

Great Color, Comfortable Size

I purchased this tablet after I started getting noticeable shoulder pain with my previous tablet monitor which was very tall and heavy compared to this one. Drawing on it is easy and I'm able to do it for long periods without any pain flareups. Important for me since art is my job! Within a month there was something wrong with the plug of the adapter that caused it to stop working, but customer service was quick, responsive and I got the replacement a day earlier than it was expected. My only complaint would be that the stand the tablet came with has a very narrow "lip" that the tablet rests on, so if you have it at the most upright angle the stand supports, the slightest jostle sends the tablet sliding off. The color quality is amazing, very bright and good saturation.

Great product with the money

I bought this for my son to replace a similar product. This one is bigger, and looks nicer. He actually uses this much more than the other one. It's worth the money paid and we'd buy it again if needed.

Only a month or so of use and I hate it

Product has given me several issues straight out of the box. Causes computer audio to flicker on and off at random. Causes videos to buffer at random. Causes browser window to disappear. Use of express keys randomly changes what tool I was using. All of this combined has given me so much stress and anger. And they tell me I can't return it despite buying it straight from the manufacturer? Give me a break. Get a Wacom the price is higher but their products have never given me any issues like this has.

Picture don't do this tablet justice. I like that fact that it feels good to draw on this. No lag!!!

Bigger than expected! I thought in my head that this would be a tiny drawing pad, but my pleasant surprise, the sample picture don't do this justice. It's almost the size of my laptop - even the tablet and stand fit comfortably in my lap.
