Hush Puppies Mens Torpedo Black Teak Mahogany Leather Extra Wide Work Shoes

Incredibly comfortable and good value shoes. I have bought two pairs - one for home and one for work. My feet are a little wider than normal so the extra width provided by the Torpedo is appreciated by me and way more comfortable than the usual hard soled leather shoes that I have been spending my life in at work. I have had them for a month now - so far so good. Very happy.

Initially disappointed, as they didn't look like the kind of torpedoes I'm used to. But I put them in tubes one and two to give them a test fire anyway. Lucky it wasn't real combat, because it only hit the enemy sub with a dull, rubbery thud. I soon realised my mistake, however, as I'd neglected to tie the laces in a double-knot. I'm hoping the next test-fire will yield better results. Meanwhile, I discovered by chance they make excellent shoes, so I'm wearing them whenever I'm on deck, and have already received a number of compliments from the crew.

These shoes are, by far, the best footwear I have ever owned. MYER always stocks quality products and merchandise, and these are no exception. I called ahead, to make sure they had them in stock. The call to store was a great experience, and it was like I was speaking to a good friend. I was on my way to pick them up 20 minutes later. When making the purchase, I was able to buy a second pair for half price, which was too good to pass up. I almost didn't want to leave a review because that means others may catch on to how good these shoes are... but, I know it will be years until I need new shoes again, and when the time comes I won't go anywhere else.
