The same job on the new model requires a socket/ratchet or open end/box end combi wrench to accomplish the task. Why? The wingnut is just a simple plastic molded component that the exact same bolt slides through. Was it truly that expensive to leave it on the blower and give the owner that much more convenience? And why on earth did they add a spring assisted pull start? The last thing this blower needed was assistance with pulling the starter cord. But noooo, they had to had a spring assist in the starter housing so that you have to pull the cord halfway out of the recoil before it turns that tiny engine over. This is simply a foolish change and will lead to added expense for the owner down the road. Return to the simple direct drive pull start and give it back the wingnut on the blower housing so the air chute can be removed without tools. All improvement requires change but not all change brings improvement. Husqvarna did nobody any favors with these changes. And why on earth did you put an insulated spark plug cap on the thing? I use a handheld inductive tachometer to adjust the engines to optimum running but with this newly designed spark plug cap I cannot get areading. My advice is that when you have something that is tops in the class leave it alone. If the changes are not bringing anything of value to the product then just STOP! We're tired of this throw away mentality that companies have these days.

A few times while using the blower, the two piece tube assembly vibrated loose and it fell off. Not the end of the world. It usually stays all put together on a shelf in the garage. This has been my only intermittent issue.I would recommend this blower to any homeowner.

I bought this blower April 18 but didn't use it till the first part of May. Got it started and it ran good for 10 minutes and started to sputter and shut off. Took it to one of your service reps to fix it under your warranty. He told me it would be a couple of weeks to get it done. It is now June 21and it still has not been looked at. So I am very very disappointed. Also when I opened it up the fuel filter part was jamed up by the top of the gas tank. I pushed it down so I could fill it up with gas. This whole situation has been a joke!!!

I bought this 2.5 years ago. Ran extremely well for the first 18 months or so. Then didn't like to run a full speed. Replaced fuel filter, air filter and spark plug. Ran better but still had issues. I Only use 90 octane no-ethanol gas with Husqvarna oil. Removed muffler screen and event he muffler to see if it was exhaust based. No avail. Then it started to run better after i put it back together. A few months later same issue. Replaced fuel lines primer bulb and carb. No good starts but won't run at high speed. Adjusted the carb never buy another. I had stihl products for many years but never had problems this soon in products life

Horrible experience

Horrible product. Bought this blower from Lowe’s and on the first day of use, the engine stopped working on multiple occasions. The power is no where near what it should be when it decides to work ( for 5 minutes max). Lowe’s won’t let me return due to it being past 48 hours of purchase and Husqvarna won’t return due to it already having gas put in it? How else would I know if it were faulty without putting gas and trying it. TERRIBLE.

Trying to save a few cents

I have owned the 125B since 2007 and have had 0 complaints about it. It has been showing some signs of aging and I decided to get the exact same product since its still the same model I was hoping that it has at the least stayed the same if not improved a bit. Looking at the brand new machine it is exactly the same as my old one except for one thing. The small plastic wing nut that allows you to easily remove the nozzle. This wing nut fits over a machine screw with a hex head and a slotted screw head. I called customer service thinking it was forgotten when assembled because it even shows the part in the quick start guide that came with it. My answer from customer service is that the Engineering department decided to remove this part to improve the product??? If that would be the case, you would have expected someone from the engineering department to consider picking a head that might last a bit longer that a flat head because we all know what that will eventually become. If you use the product and never need to remove the nozzle, then you would not ever see this as an issue, but I store mine in a cabinet and after every use I remove the nozzle to store. My question is the ONLY reason this was removed from the original is to save .02 cents. So what else hase been shortchanged to save a penny or two???

Very bad
3 November 2021

I have three of these and they are all equally terrible. The first one I bought from Lowe’s abs it ran for a few months then started to call apart. First the carb then the string pulled out and then the mechanic told me he wouldn’t fix it anymore because the motor was shot. My next one my wife bought and after a few uses it wouldn’t start anymore and I took it back to the local shop I bought it from and they told me it was 120 dollars to fix and that it was a lemon. I fixed it but now it won’t start anymore. My brother gave me another one( I would not buy one of these at this point) and now that one is so sensitive to start and if for some reason it goes out in you forget about starting it again for the next couple hours. These things are junk.

9 May 2023

Not bashing Husqvarna, I've owned 2 125b blowers, 2 130 L trimmers, 1 141 chainsaw and a TS 348.XD garden tractor.I've always liked Husqvarna equipment until lately. The chainsaw only lasted about a year. My blower 125b is less than a year old and has been back and forth to the dealer spending about 2 months in the shop. They finally said they would give me a new unit since it was covered under warranty. It's been about week and the dealer still hasn't received it . I'm now using a different chainsaw brand (very happy)and may have to do the same with the blower. Beware!!

Workhorse, reliable and affordable
4 March 2023

This is my second Husqvarna 125B, the first one is used in my shop since the competitive brand failed and this one will replace it in my garage. I use it every day for blowing off the driveway and garage from the dirt blown around living on a farm and in the mountains. In the winter its used to blow melted snow off the floor surfaces so it doesn't turn to slippery ice at night. Considering I am at altitude (5400' plus) and the varied weather conditions, it has always worked and worked well. I have never had to replace any parts and it has never let me down, something I cannot say for most other items. One thing I was made aware of is to use non-ethanol gas as ethanol gas will cause build up in the carb and render the machine useless until thoroughly cleaned.
