A telescopic pole saw for professional use The Husqvarna 530iPT5 is a telescopic pole saw for professional trimming of branches that are high up; suitable applications include arboriculture, forestry, landscape maintenance, and parks and public spaces. Its unique design makes for a robust, lightweight and well balanced saw with excellent performance. Maximum efficiency The pole saw can quickly retract and extend between 293 - 400 cm and is able to reach branches up to 5 m high. The slimline 25 cm / 10 inch bar has high chain speed for smooth, efficient cutting. It also fulfils the IPX4 classification for rain resistance which means it can be used in all working conditions for maximum efficiency. Excellent user comfort The ergonomically shaped handle ensures greater user comfort and easy access to the controls. A harness eyelet easily allows for a harness to be attached to relieve the weight for both the users arms and shoulders, making for less strenuous working. A rear impact guard protects the engine unit and the battery from wear and damage. The advantages of cordless technology As well as removing the restrictions of electrical cables, the presence of petrol fumes, and loud noise and heavy vibrations, the 530iPT5 has the advantage of low operating costs and maintenance as well as being wonderfully easy to operate. A battery and a charger are required A compatible battery and a charger are required for the pole saw to work. If you don't already have these, any BLi battery will fit although the recommended set-up includes the BLi200 or BLi300 battery and the QC330 charging unit. The BLi200 battery provides around 2 hours working time per full charge.
