Love the design of this bottle because I can take separate the parts and put them in the dishwasher. I purchased this bottle because my old water bottle from other company accumulated black mold in the plastic and it was impossible to removed it. Therefore, I was looking for a water bottle that offers easy cleaning, and this bottle is perfect.

This has become my new favorite water bottle. Nalgene used to be my go-to for bottles, but the little details on the HydraPak RECON really set it apart. The twist top sip cap has a great flow rate, the carrying handle is strong and secure, and the bottle has a really sleek design. I am a huge fan of this bottle and have already recommended it to multiple friends. Great job!!!

Once I see this water bottle, I immediately love the design with few parts and user friendly features, so I bought 2 of it. However, after I have used it for a while, I found a problem that liquid spilled a little from gap between cover and body if I used the drinking feature. It is a little bit annoying me because sometimes I used it to drink whey protein and the liquid is sticky.Hope you can improve the product with such a great feature.

However, after I have used it for a while, I found a problem that liquid spilled a little from gap between cover and body if I used the drinking feature. Works as described. I haven't had any leak issues and the lid is a great drinking experience. I would like it more if a standard lid without a spout was an option. I feel the drinkable lid is more fragile and less clean in a camping environment.
I bought one of these (750 mL, purple cap) six months ago for car/air trips. While I love my insulated stainless bottle at work, I wanted something for travel that was lightweight, easy to clean, would not leak on planes (hello cabin pressure) and that the family could *somewhat* hygienically share because apparently I’m the only person who consistently remembers their water bottle. This bottle has performed admirably on all fronts. It really is as easy to clean as the videos demonstrate, and it has held up great. After the most recent trip, my husband finally relented from his “I already have a water bottle” stance and upgraded to one of these. We also purchased a 500 mL for the kids to use under supervision. And that’s the only negative to be aware of - The twist mechanism for drinking is very easy to use and quick to get the hand of, but for kids under 10ish they won’t always remember to twist it close. For adults, no problem. I also would prefer a slightly different handle mechanism as this one is a bit stiff and wider than the bottle, but on the other hand, we’ve been very rough with ours and it hasn’t broken or caused any problems.This is a real winner of a bottle and I’m so happy to have found it.

The bottles are great however, we did send an email prior to purchase that we wanted 3 bottles in three different colours (specified)! And we got 3 bottles in all the same colour with an explanation from Gearshop that that didn't see the email pre-dispatch! We did send them an email back requesting to sort this out for us as we wanted the 3 different colours for a specific reason and have never heard back from them!
This is the bottle I have been looking for. I'm pretty fussy with the bottles I take hunting with me.Criteria is it must hold 1L, small diameter to fit in pack side pocket, and not wide mouth.I have been using a similar Macpac one but it would leak when I put hydrations tablets in it and soak by back and pack.This on has been awesome, no leaks and the mouth piece lets out the perfect amount on liquid.Highly recommended by me
The cap is the unique feature of this bottle. It functions well, requiring a quarter turn to open or close. The design is nicely uncluttered.Turning the cap, which is very smooth, requires a firm grip and a bit of force.There is a bar, located on the base of the handle, to indicate when the top is unscrewed the optimal amount for drinking. The location of the bar is set by twisting the handle.The handle has rounded edges, which help with comfort. Even so, the edges eventually can be felt.A definite plus is that caps designed to fit Camelbak or Nalgene bottles are fully compatible.
I love this bottle! My brother and I each got two. The fact that it holds 32 oz but is narrow enough to fit in backpack side pockets and car cupholders is fantastic! The top is easy to use and clean. The only downside is how much it sweats when you have ice in the bottle. I have purchased can coozies intended for 24-25 oz aluminum cans and they work great with this bottle. 10/10 would recommend.
