I wanted to like this cooler, I really did. But after 5 trips with it I can thoroughly say it sucks. Filling it with sandwich makings, drinks and seven pounds of ice, you'll be lucky to not have a cooler full of water in 3-4 hours. This cooler just does not have the ability to keep ice for any excursion.I can't speak for if you're taking it to the office or keeping it in air controlled environments, but if you're thinking of taking this for a day at the river or for an overnight camping trip, I'd recommend trying something else.

I looked all over for the ideal cooler for my spouse and finally found this 20L cooler. He travels across the nation every other week, so when he arrived at various hotels and airports, he found that previous insulated coolers were not working properly and the food was warm. I love this soft-sided cooler. Since it's soft-sided the walls are thin compared to a plastic cooler, so almost all of its size translates to useable space. Additionally, it has some give to it, so when you're carrying it against your body with the shoulder strap it's really comfortable and doesn't dig in when it's loaded up. It's really nicely designed and attractive too.I have had soft sided coolers before that have a very thin inner liner, and they all ended up leaking, and often quickly and substantially. Not what I ordered! I ordered a black back pack cooler instead I got a blue carry out cooler. Hydroflask please get your act together. This is the second time I am receiving the wrong item! I ordered my black back pack cooler on June 12. Over 100 dollars . I still DO NOT HAVE MY COOLER. Great products my daughter loves their hydroflask cups but ordering online is just horrible. Your warehouses need competent people. If this was one mistake I understand but this is the second time I am calling , emailing , returning, and wasting my time and money on your products and still no product.

I like that there are two different ways to carry it, on the shoulder with the padded shoulder strap (very comfortable by the way) or the two smaller straps. The size is perfect to carry around, not too small, not too big. We live using it during groceries as it fits well in the shopping cart. It keeps frozen items cold as it is supposed to and everything is enclosed with a great quality zipper. With that said, the outside pocket is not necessary as I can’t figure out what to put inside. We live in SoCal and it’s a challenge to get groceries home without them wilting, getting warm and melting. I have 2 cooler totes but needed something with a large base. This is perfect. I used it last week. It holds a lot. Very pleased I got the 20 L size and not the smaller one. I got it in blackberry color. Dark but not black. Also it’s very light weight and designed well to easily carry full. I’d highly recommend it.
Love this cooler! The lightweight aspect is great especially after filling it with your food/drinks and ice. I appreciate the easy zipper and generous size as well. It will be a great beach/picnic cooler this summer for our family! I haven’t tested it fully in the southern heat but I have high hopes for this as we love all of our Hydroflask items.
I love this cooler. It’s medium sized but it is still spacious inside. I took it with us to Costco and put in ice packs. It kept all our frozen seafood chilled throughout our 4 hour trip. There was also space for Costco eggs on top, stacked high.The most impressive is when I bought a frozen yogurt soft served pie and drove through 3 hours of traffic. I came home, expecting a puddle of ice cream but the ice cream cake was still frozen solid. I was so impressed. I opened the cooler and it felt like there was dry ice packed inside, even! I love this cooler, especially for a fraction of the cost of what a competitor would charge.

I love the size of this cooler but unfortunately I think that after they are made they stack stuff on top of them and it permanently crushes the top of the cooler so that it leave a indentation. I sent the first one back because the right side was so noticable of being crushed. When I got the replacement it was also crushed but not as bad. I created another complaint an got another return label but I dont think they really listen to my complaint. If I get another one it probably will be the same way.
