This Flask does a great job at keeping my coffee warm for four to six hours, at least in the house. I have not yet used it outdoors in cold weather. The lid, however, seems to be more complicated than necessary. I'm finally getting the hang of how to assemble and disassemble it. Don't lose the instructions for the lid. You'll need them. The lid does seem to do a good job of holding in the heat. I have not yet used this flask with cold liquids.

Fit's into mostpurse's back packs or whatever one carries and a sensational colour, very elegant. Am now going to buy the matching water bottle with a handle.

It's a small insulated bottle; I know what I'm getting into. Too small too keep things hot for very long. It will do marginally better with iced beverages. One drop on the ground and both its looks and functionality will be sacrificed but it's very cute. A question: Why are we asked to review items immediately after purchase?

Unfortunately I will be having to purchase a separate lid for this thing. The sip lid that comes with it has a design flaw... When screwing the lid on the sip part also comes open since both threads are same direction, which make it susceptible to leaks/spills. I will be purchasing a regular wide mouth flex cap to fix that issue.
I bought this hoping it would retain heat better than anything else on the planet. It didn't, but it retains heat as well as any 18/8 stainless steel thermos I've owned. Filling with boiling water and letting sit does extend the heat retention at a high level a couple of hours, and coffee is drinkably warm for at least 5 or 6 hours. Meanwhile, I discovered it's superior features - it is so easy to tote, and it absolutely does not leak because it has a superior locking mechanism!Unlike many other competitors, all parts are dishwasher safe. (And did I mention it is cute?) It makes a perfect Keurig 12 oz cup, fits under Keurig on its drip stand. Small for grab and go. I'm not one to nurse a tall hot drink all day. I will say, this Hydro flask does keep coffee or tea hot for however long needed. The drink lid is an engineering marvel. No leaks at all. I will say, you almost have to be an engineer to reassemble. Keep the instructions. Enlarge it because you will need a magnifying glass to make out the miniscule type. Reassembling the lid is possible!
I love this coffee Hydro Flask so much!!!! I love that it fits nicely in my purse and I was happy that it works under my espresso machine. I have used it for water and for coffee and it works beautifully. I did need to read the instructions on how to put the lid back together. It completely comes apart for washing which is great! I also love that I can change out the lid and instead of using the flex sip lid I can use the regular lid from my 32 oz insulated water bottle from Hydro Flask. I don't know why I waited so long to use their products!!!! Great find.
I own many Hydro Flask products and this one sure does not disappoint.The 12 oz wide mouth bottle with flex sip lid is perfect for coffee or tea. The bottle keeps drinks hot or cold for an extended amount of time while maintaining a compact and lightweight form. The flex sip lid is a pleasure to sip from and as a huge bonus, it can be fully disassembled for proper cleaning.This is a great bottle and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a small portable bottle to store their precious coffee or tea.
I bought this because I wanted this size for a single cup of coffee for my commute. It works great and keeps my coffee hot. I occasionally put ice water in it and that works great too. If left on its side for a while it will leak slightly through the vent hole on top. I leave it in my car’s cup holder and then it’s not a problem. The durability of this travel mug exceeds any of the other travel mugs I have used from various other manufacturers.
I’ve had this for a few weeks now. Was excited to purchase this for my coffee since my other Hydroflask products have worked so well, but with cold liquids. Unfortunately, the design of the lid is not airtight and drinks will only remain hot for 2hours max. This is a glaring issue considering my standard s’well bottles, w/ a fraction Hydroflask’s insulation are able to keep liquids hot for up to 12hours.
