The only kind of flask I’ve ever had is Hydro Flask, but mine have a one- piece lid. The smaller one (16oz) began to slightly leak. So I kept looking at the Hydro Flask and finally found the 16 oz one in Lupine. Well, drinking out of it, the first half of contents are fine, but when you get to the second half and have to tilt it more, it leaks like a sieve. I have tried and tried putting the lid together (3 pieces) with the directions and cannot get it not to leak badly. I would like to try another one. 16 ounce ( don’t really care about the color). I like the fit in my hand, but the bad leak is totally unacceptable. I wish my review was better; but it’s how it is.Patty Storm

I am loving my brand new hydroflask, the straw cap is definitely the best feature for me especially on long drives I can pop the straw and drink instead of having to unscrew a cap which is hard to do with one hand. The straw cap is also convenient because it doesn’t involve any head tilting or leaning back to drink. Perfect for cold drinks all day through hotter weather and keeps my coffee and tea warm for colder mornings. All around it’s a much better buy compared to Walmart and Amazon counterparts because it’s much higher quality and keeps drinks at the temperature you want for longer. Looking forward to buying more for family and friends as gifts this Christmas!

Terrible! Tried using and it snapped, now I cant use the extra straps coz i dont have the tool. You need to have a better designed customizer tool for extra straps. Very disappointed. And yes, the 12. oz wide mouth bottle i bought was a disappointment too, coffee/tea/water would only last hot/warm for less than 2 hrs, seriously?!?? You claimed it is supposed to stay hot for 12 hrs , it’ not even close. My LeCreuset hydration bottle does not even claim 12 hrs for hot water to stay hot …. but it stays hot for 20 hrs!!! This is not my first time to buy from you guys, I have 3 bottles i bought from your website.

It's perfect for what I needed. A small coffee tumbler with a simple opening mechanism and that it leak proof. It's not different than others, but I find it pretty also.The price is okay. It holds the temperature pretty well as described. The color finish is pretty resistant to scratches. It also easy to disassemble the lid to clean it.I like the handle. It's comfortable to hold and you can also clip it to your bag with a carabiner. If you need a silicone base protector, it's the Small size that you will need. The lid does a great job of keeping liquids hot. To get this insulation, the lid takes a lot of physical force to open and take apart (really can't be used by anyone with any wrist or grip issues). It comes apart into 4 very hard to clean parts. You have to be diligent with a brush or bristle to get inside everything.If you don't put the orange rubber gasket in *exactly* right, it will leak. After about a year, my gasket is getting darker and darker from coffee.I would not recommend this lid due to maintenance and ableism implied in the force required to take it apart.

I had to watch the video a couple of times in the beginning to figure out taking apart the lid but once you get it it's simple. I have several different sizes of these and I consider them to be the best. I'm picky about my hot drinks being hot and these keep them hot for 4 to 6 hours. Sometimes they keep my tea so hot I can't even drink it for an hour. The lids are leak proof. I used to be so opposed to this newer style lid with the handle, but I have come to love it. The only downside is I can no longer open it one handed. The whole lid is more difficult to operate especially when you have arthritis in your hands. I also wish they had more colors and patterns like the water tumblers which have become so popular now.
