For the last year I've been switching between a 17oz swell and a 32oz but finding issues with both. The swell was too small for a full day but fit in cup holders and was insulated, the nalgene held enough water for a day or a hike but doesn't fit in literally any cup holder I've found and doesn't stay cold. Decided to finally get the best of both worlds and meet in the middle. The 24oz hydroflask is perfect, I was tempted by the 32oz but glad I went with the 24, it's such a nice feeling being able to put it in the cup holder it my car. Only complaint is I wish it came with the straw lid, my swell had a smaller opening which I liked and I had a straw in my nalgene wide month. With the hydroflask lid I have trouble drinking and walking or driving but this can be fixed ... MoreFor the last year I've been switching between a 17oz swell and a 32oz but finding issues with both. This is my second hydro flask in this model. My original works great. I drink water with ice and the original keeps the water cold throughout the night. The water is still cold in the morning. That has not been the case with the current bottle. The water is room temp in the morning, not cold. I am not sure what the issue is, because both hold water and there are no leaks. I assume the construction of the bottle or it’s components have changed and no longer works as well as the original.

I bought the Hydro Flask 24oz Standard Mouth Insulated Bottle in Mesa orange, and it has exceeded my expectations. It keeps drinks hot or cold for hours, is portable, and has a great design. Best of all it fits inside the standard cupholders in our RV unlike the larger HydroFlask I've used for the past year. It doesn't leak and has a convenient loop cap. I love its eco-friendly features. Highly recommend!

We bought 3 of these for our kids. One rusted inside after a few months use. Contacted Hydroflax about their warranty and was told to mail it in for replacement.. at my own cost.. estimated at $10 or so.. I told her I was not about to spend a third of the cost of a new one to replace something that was under warranty so then I was told i could write on it in sharpie and mail a photo. It's a black bottle.. so I then had to hunt a silver or gray sharpie.. this is a ridiculous process for something with a supposed great warranty. I had already sent them photos of the rust inside. At the very least a postage paid label should be sent if they want it back to prevent resale or proof of damage. At the very least a postage paid label should be sent if they want it back to prevent resale or proof of damage. The mouth, though smaller than a wide mouth, still resulted in my kids spilling often and I wasn't about to spend even more money on a new lid with a different spout after the fiasco to return the one. So we replaced these with more user friendly versions from Costco and I keep the two not rusted ones as back up for long car trips. I won't be spending more money with this company.
This is my fault. But after I ordered 21 - 24 oz water bottles with our company name on them for $1100 - I found I could have gotten another very good bottle from a very reputable company for less. I could have gotten 21 - 32 oz bottles with our name on them for $600.The bottles are fine. But, do your research if you want the best bottle for the best price.
I ordered two of these bottles.First, the listing is confusing. It says you can “choose” the lid you want. NO. You can **separately BUY** the lid you want. The cap you get is one you have to remove in order to drink from the bottle. If you want a cap with a straw or sipping option, you have to order a completely different lid separately.Pros—24 oz is exactly the amount of water I wanted in a bottle—The fit in car cup holders—The seem sturdy, well made—They look greatCons—I wish the bottles were slightly wider and a bit shorter. I want them for my car cupholder, and while they fit, there’s room left over and they are so tall, they interfere with the car’s heat/AC controls, etc.—The next bigger size bottle won’t fit in the cup holders—The flex cap ... MoreI ordered two of these bottles.First, the listing is confusing. I had to buy the bottle with a cap I’ll never use and have to pay extra for the cap I want.
I use this to keep my water cold and/or my coffee hot while riding my adventure motorcycle. It keeps liquids hotter and colder than I ever need for basically as long as I've ever wanted. I know there are a lot of choices for thermos type containers these days, but Hydro Flask just makes my favorite. I've ben using them for years and haven't found any reason to leave them yet. You won't regret this purchase.
I bought the 18 oz first and loved it so much I bought the 24 oz. I use one or both on a daily basis and it fits in the car cup holders so it’s easy to reach when driving.I like my water ice cold and this product does what it says and keeps it cold for a long time. I like that it’s durable and well made and I’m helping the environment by not buying bottled water. I never was a fan of plastic water bottles and I prefer drinking from stainless for the crisp and refreshing taste.
What more could you want in a water bottle? This keeps your cold drinks cold and your hot drinks hot. If you're worried about denting your bottle (I drop mine ALL THE TIME), I recommend purchasing a small boot for your bottle. The rubber boot will help absorb impact, prevent that metallic "clanging" sound when you put the bottle down, and with every color option in the rainbow, you can pick a color scheme that means your bottle won't be getting mixed up with your friend's anymore! I bought the clementime bottle (which is more of a true orange in color than the photos make it seem, photos look like a yellow-orange color) and a yellow boot, and they look fantastic together.
I like hydroflasks in general, they do an amazing job keeping things cool all day, which is awesome and essential. This particular design is bad though, where you put your lips is always fully exposed, the older models have the cap that covers the mouthpiece which I much prefer to this. And with the tapered design at the top, everyone always seems to want to grab it there, right on the exposed mouthpiece. I work a lot in the field with different assistants and for whatever reason they always wanna grab it that way right at the tapered part and touch all up on the mouthpiece. If it was designed as the older ones, the lid would cover the mouthpiece. This size does fit in the cup holder of my car which is nice, but is kinda too narrow and tall so moves around in there ... MoreI like hydroflasks in general, they do an amazing job keeping things cool all day, which is awesome and essential. The 40 oz older model that has the lid that covers the mouthpiece is far too large to fit in the cup holder. Wish they could come up with a happy 30 oz that fits the cup holder and has a covered mouthpiece. Otherwise does it’s job.
