Best bottle ever! This keeps the water ice cold for well over 24 hours! It's dental ounces lighter than my standard 32 oz. bottles. They don't make a boot to fit this size yet, so I used sports tape and that saved me several dents on our last hiking vacation. Moosejaw's customer service did not disappoint! They went above and beyond to help!!

Developed a vacuum leak within weeks. For the price, I couldn't believe it when I first picked up my fancy water bottle and felt condensation on the outside surface. I figured something crazy happened and it wasn't an issue with the actual bottle. But lo and behold after testing for hotspots with hot water, then entire outer surface was hot to the touch. Hydroflask might cover it with their warranty, but that whole process just to submit a claim was a massive pain. Overall highly disappointed in this purchase and wish I would have just gotten another Camelbak Eddy insulated bottle :/

I wanted a bottle that would keep water and ice cold all day. There are a lot out there that will work but for my specific needs it came down to two brands swell and hydro flask as they were the only ones that would fit in my lowbrow customs fuel reserve bottle carrier. I went with the hydro flask 32oz trail series. Reasons were the hydro held 32oz where the swell holds 25oz but the main two reason I went with the hydro flask was the lightweight and wide mouth opening which makes filling with ice very easy. Also ordered the flex sip lid for it as well that makes drinking easy without removing the lid. At the end of a 9 hour day of riding in 77 degree weather I still had ice and cold water in the bottle. Would definitely recommend the hydro flask to any motorcyclist ... MoreI wanted a bottle that would keep water and ice cold all day. I bought this to replace a 40 oz Fifty/fifty stainless steel bottle I had been using for about 7 years. I expected that the lightweight model and the smaller size would be noticeably lighter, but honestly the two sizes empty felt about the same and I think any weight savings filled is mostly due to it having 8 fewer ounces of water in it. It's a good bottle and I like it though. The old bottle had a more heavy duty outer coating I believe. The old one had just a few blemishes on the outside the whole time I had it and this one already has some scratching around the bottle with similar usage to the previous one. Not a huge concern for me, but it could be a problem for some.
I like the bottle, but I have encountered a couple issues with it. First, Hydro Flask doesn't make a boot that fits this item. I purchased an alternative that I found suitable. First actual drop damaged the bottle significantly - caused a dent outside and protrusion inside. I found this surprising considering they advertise that their "gear is created to last a lifetime of adventures". This is my first Hydro Flask (in the past, I've always bought Contigo products, never bought a boot, and didn't damage so easily). I'm not sure if this is common with all their water bottles or if the Trail Series, in particular, is more susceptible to damage. Not happy considering the cost of the product and I wouldn't recommend it to others.
I had a wide-mouth white one 2 years ago, and it started to leak almost a year in. Fortunately, I had the member return policy applied and got a new one (this exact green and red detailed wide-mouth model) May 2021. Started leaking again earlier this month, June 2022. It ruined my sketchbooks and notepads. Really upsetting. This time, it's been 13th months, so no return. NEVER GOING TO GIVE THIS BRAND ANOTHER CHANCE! Eff hydro flask. (Thanks for the 2nd chance REI).FYI, It has never been through rough activities. Pretty much only in bags or hand carried for simple daily commutes. I swear, never had hard drops over the year...
I love this bottle. It is light weight. It fits in my car’s cup holder. It keeps my ice water cold for 12 hours. That being said. It is not as durable as the regular hydro flask bottles. Those things are indestructible. It also doesn’t do as well in extreme weather. If it is 100 degrees out it doesn’t do as well as the regular HF bottles.I am currently on my 3rd HFTS32 due to dropping them. Once they are dropped they don’t work as well. It would be nice if they made a boot for the 32. I am going to buy the sling for my shorter (8-12) mile hikes so I can use hiking poles and hopefully keep from dropping the thing.I still recommend this. For me the shape and weight are good enough trade offs for the lack of durability.
This is hands down my favorite water bottle EVER. First thing I love about it, and every product Ive bought from HydroFlask is the ability to withstand rough handling, and actually keep stuff cold for hours, even when I'm in extreme heat. This bottle specifically is easier to carry and handle because it is not as big around as others I have, yet still holds a full quart, and stays COLD to the last drop. AS long as I screw the top on properly I have no problems with leaking, and even if I don't get it seated right it still leaks only minimally. A little more money than other water bottles but I use it constantly at work, home, travel and on the trail and golf course. Definitely gotten good value for the $$!
What differentiate this bottle from other is the weight and the slenderness. It is lighter and thinner. Makes it much easier to grab and hold. The size also make it easier to store in back pack. Being lighter than other bottle helps when hiking. The finish is also much nicer with anodized color instead of paint. The large opening allows to put ice cube easily and it accommodates standard accessories. A little pricey but it is nice.
I like this product because everyone has one and it looks nice. But, i noticed it smells quicker than some of my other waterbottles - as in, the water goes bad fast even when using filtered water. I also thought it would keep hot water longer than it does. These bottles get a lot of hype but im wondering if the overall construction is more of an aesthetic than function. Other than that, it is sturdy and the perfect size.
