Do not buy. Bought one from SportChek (same company as Canadian Tire), Charged it over night, wouldn't turn on. Exhchange for another one. Same result. Requested warranty from Hyperice. Hyperice's response: "The unit purchased is our first generation Hypervolt go which we no longer have in production and it was purchased through a unauthorized third party store. Because that model is about 4 years old, the battery more than likely depleated."

Got this massage gun when it was on sale and it was well worth the price. It's quite compact and delivers enough power for my use and battery life is really good. I can go a whole week or two with regular use before the battery dies.People complain about it's lack of power for the size but honestly I never use it on high speed, low speed is more than enough to help your muscles loosen up.Only downside is that it doesn't come with a carry case and only two attachments but there's various case options available elsewhere online.

I’m a larger man. 5’10” and 220 lbs. I have plenty of tissue and muscle to work through and around. This 40w device does exactly what you’re hoping it’ll do at a discounted price compared to the more expensive models. I’m able to press the device into tissue/muscle and the motor doesn’t bog. For general use, the attachments are what I need.4* because there are other options with stronger motors and more attachments. For personal use, this is 5* every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I discovered this product whilst on a recent cruise and was curious to receive a demo. For something small and portable, I was surprised as to just how powerful this is. Charging doesn’t take long and it’s heavy enough to feel comfortable with the quality of build but light enough to use over a longer period of time.I’ve used this on numerous family members who can’t believe how powerful and relaxing it is and with 3 power mode settings I find mode 1 and 2 more than sufficient.I work in retail standing up all day and using this at the end of the day brings a lot of relief to my feet which alone is worth it.I was disappointed that it did not come supplied with a carry case but a quick search on Amazon and there are a few options on there that might suit your ... MoreI discovered this product whilst on a recent cruise and was curious to receive a demo. Great at what it does, in terms of massaging. I am very happy with how it feels, and I like how compact and portable it is. Decent battery life as well. However, I am knocking three stars off due to its poor implementation of USB charging. I tested this device with an assortment of chargers that are known to work, and found that it will not charge from a USB-PD charger/brick. (For full clarity, I tested with USB-C chargers that are capable of delivering the 5V, 2A required, in addition to meeting the USB-PD specification.) It only seems to work by using a legacy USB-A to USB-C cable. This, in some ways, defeats the purpose of USB Type-C. Very strange and disappointing to see this occur in a 2023 product.
Amazing. Love it. I had my sisters try it when I brought if along during our girls trip. After being on your feet all day, it was nice to use the product. They both decided to chuck their current product they were using. They love their new muscle gun. Three settings are perfect. I love the mid setting. Especially being on my feet and when I strained my calf muscle. Love it! It was a gift from kiddos. Awesome product
With the soft tip from Hypervolt, this unit still packs a punch on level 3 (highest setting). It's not going to be as powerful as the hypervolt 2, but for most applications it will suffice. I like to use it on my hands, feet, and shoulders. It is just the right amount of pressure for those delicate areas and still soothes them. I wanted to try this unit because it is the smallest the company offered, and it does have its perks. I recommend it for its portability, and lightweight applications. Though I would keep a charging cable (plus brick) in case you need more charge because it does tend to run out quicker than the larger units.
Review for Hyperice Hypervolt Go 2 (USB-C) - Arctic GrayI've had the Hypervolt Go 2 for about three weeks now, along with the additional heating head, and I couldn't be happier with this purchase. I originally owned a Sharp massager that eventually stopped working, so after reading reviews and seeing this model at Best Buy, I decided to give it a try. This product delivers exactly what I was looking for—it's incredibly powerful, and the battery life is outstanding. Even after long sessions, I haven’t managed to drain the battery, although I keep it charged regularly. The massage performance is excellent, with plenty of power to work through muscle tension effectively. The build quality feels solid, and despite being a smaller model, it hasn’t compromised on performance at all. I’m an avid cyclist, covering 67 to 80 miles on my road bike, and in winter, I switch to the gym, where I do about 30 miles on a stationary bike with added resistance. The Hypervolt Go 2 has been perfect for easing muscle tension after these workouts, keeping my muscles feeling great.Overall, I have zero complaints and would highly recommend this product. It’s compact yet powerful, and the quality is impressive. I’m so satisfied with it that I’m likely to try more products from Hyperice. Great product—keep up the good work!
I generally always have back pain and this thing works wonders on it. Also, I ride dirt bikes and after a ling day of riding, this thing is awesome. Small wnough to bring with me in case we go camping and what not while riding. Only gripe is, it doesnt come with a carrying case. But for the price, it makes sense not to come with a case. For anyone wondering if the should get a better/stronger model, you can. BUT I had the Theragun Elite and it was “too strong” for me. It worked well, but wasnt relaxing at all. Thats more of a deep tissue massage, works great, but if you want to feel a bir more relaxed. I’d get this message gun. The stronger ones seem more aimed at power lifters/football players/other athletes. After buying the larger version for myself, I bought this lighter version for my 80 yo parents. I wanted the lighter one because the larger is so powerful and I didn't want them to get bruised trying to get relief. They love it.Example 1) Me.I run. I've done tri's and various distances. My leg locked up and I literally couldn't lift it to cross my legs following a short two mile run one night. All the usual relief strategies did nothing. I went and picked this up. GAME CHANGER! Literally, with one use, 90% better. Instantly! I used it again the following day and the balance was relieved.Example 2) my teenage son. Ran for high school. Legs tightened up. Again, instantaneous reliefExample 3) my shoulder. Not as good as legs, but that's possibly because I was ... MoreAfter buying the larger version for myself, I bought this lighter version for my 80 yo parents. I have a high threshold for pain and massage pressure and I typically use the lowest setting.Battery charges quickly & lasts for weeks without a re-charve (I'm a couple months since purchase and it's still running off the original charge)
