I bought these at the end of May 2022. The audio was great and they are wireless, but my friends told me they couldn't hear me on the PS5, then again on the PS4. I stopped using them and bought another headset I found on sale that worked well. Last month I tried hooking them up to my gaming PC and had the same issue. All of the mic settings are maxed and it barely picks up anything. I've now tried them on 2 Windows 10 PCs and one Windows 11, without any luck.I went directly to HyperX about the issue and, after confirming my issues, they sent me a brand new headset. THEY HAVE THE EXACT SAME ISSUE! This issue is on all of the same devices I tested before, with all settings set to max. I don't know what to do anymore because I'm sure I can't get my money back.

Really enjoying this headset, I work from home as a phone operator so I’ve got it on for an average of 8 hours a day-5 days a week. Good sound quality, nice and light(a major bonus as I suffer from chronic tension migraines and had to change to this headset as my last one was too heavy and made them worse.). The ear cushions are comfortable without being too hot. The mic is almost too good at cutting background noise, no one can hear my background music playing out loud by my work station, the only time people can hear anything in my background is when my corgis decide to bark super loudly and interrupt me lol I really like the flip-up to mute mechanic as wellThey hold a charge very nicely too, I can usually go about 2-3 full shifts without needing to charge them ... The wireless connection is also really good, and has a pretty decent range on it.Overall I highly recommend this headset, especially for the price it’s at.

The good: awesome Bluetooth with the USB, great battery life. No messy wires feels great. Comfortable. The bad: The wired Hyper X THATS CHEAPER sounds better. Out of the box the sound quality was so bad I had to go out of my way to get a sound equaliser app to balance the deep base. You NEED the Usb to connect to anything, this headset won't connect to an already Bluetooth capable device (such as my Pc).Overall once fiddling with the equaliser settings for some time I have decent sound quality and i do enjoy no bothersom wires, although It's disappointing to not have decent sound out of the box or no equaliser built into the supporting software.Although I wasn't expecting miracles for this price , It really was a disappointment from Hyper X

The HyperX - Cloud Stinger Core Wireless DTS Headphone:X Gaming Headset for PC was purchased for my son who plays FPS games with friends and listens to music. He was immediately thrilled with the sound...even before I installed the installed Hyper-X's surround sound software. He said he could hear nearby enemy footsteps in games with directional accuracy, and music was crisp and full. Some headsets have a separate dial so you can balance the chat volume with the game's volume - this headset does not have that. It would be nice if HyperX made it easier to find the software. It seems well made but we have not had it long enough to comment about durability.
I was having a strange windows issue where my wired headphone mic jack wouldn’t register no matter what I tried, so I had to look for a usb connected headset. Thankfully my boyfriend sent me a link to this one after seeing my struggles. It wasn’t my first choice design wise, but it was on sale and I needed something quick for a virtual interview. So I ordered this bad boy for pick up and was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight and comfortable it was! The battery life is perfect for a day or two of computer work or gaming! The audio is great and the mic is pretty decent as far as headset mics go. I would recommend this to anyone needing a good quality, affordable, gaming or work headset!
Worked well while it worked, but the wireless adapter soon fell apart after being bumped. HyperX refuses to provide replacements to buy so you are forced to buy a full headset. They clearly have stock as the headset is still being sold. This is an awful practice showing they could not care less about their customers. The only get the extra star cause it worked fine while it did and the headset itself still works. The sound quality wasn't great, it sounds a little hollow, but it worked fine for games.
So as said in the title you need to buy a license after paying for the product- but that's not the worst part of my experience with these things.-The audio quality for the microphone is atrociously bad, you may as well pay $20 for a turtle beach headset.-After buying this license for $14 (plus the $80 I paid for these things), they were "Registered" through the app but would not connect to my PC. Mind you before the license, these things were perfectly fine.-The support page said I needed to connect to the internet via the app when I was literally on their website with a solid connection, so my guess is that there are patches there that need fixing too.All in all, this is just the worst experience I had buying faulty headphones from my nearby BestBuy (it even ... I bought this headset because I needed something comfortable to wear for two or three hours, sometimes longer. I was also concerned about battery life. This headset has delivered above expectations on those points. The sound quality is good, and the microphone is good as well. The only dislike is the power button because I have to press and hold it for a couple of seconds to turn them on. I'd rather have to click once or flip a switch for power. Otherwise, solid purchase.
i've had them for about two weeks so far, here's my thoughts:Pros:- they sound very good- they are comfortable to wear- i like that the mic flips up and down to mute- range is pretty good- battery life is admirable- for the price they are, they are definitely one of the best wireless pc / ps4 headsets on the market right nowcons:- despite them sounding good, the volume is a bit low even at max volume.- they are comfortable but maybe not over very long extended periods of time (though i have not found many headphones that are)- the mic flips up and down to mute but there is no feedback to tell you when its muted / unmuted (in fact there are no voice prompts or anything, just a short beep for on / off)- they feel very cheap, like they could break at any ... I was having to restart the software like 3 times a day just to keep the headset from shutting off during gaming sessions. Also, they were very loose on my head, and i have a pretty big head. I decided to give these a try instead of those, and honestly i am satisfied with them more despite their flaws. These do not offer anything special but they work and they work well.
