Service and delivery were excellent, generator was far from silent. The generator is really good quality build and looks brilliant but it is quite noisy. Service from Generators Direect, regarding delivery, was excellent
Delivered and running quickly. Used to back up solar battery power on an off-grid. property.Starts and runs first time every time. Obey service, filters, cleaned and changed as well as lube oil.
I purchased this generator to supplement a Victron energy off-grid setup. The solar is so good it has had little use. However, this machine starts and runs well. It delivers a stable, clean power curve. The fuel consumption on 1/3 load is about a litre an hour. It is supplied with first service kit which is recommended at 20 hours run in. Service is simple with basic tools. As other reviews have said, "silent" is an optimistic definition - the machine is definitely not silent, or even close, but it is not ear-bleeding noisy either. Lifting hook on the case is useful for hoisting in and out of a vehicle.
Unfortunately the feet were damaged in transit but only noticed when the generator was gently lifted off the wooden pallet. 2 of the feet had been lost & 1 leg was broken off. Luckily we have been able to weld the leg in position and to make 2 new feet.We have made a concrete base for the generator & now waiting for the concrete to harden befor lifting the generator in place
