Cat outgrew old/slammer scratcher. This one is perfect. Easy to put together. Sturdy enough for my cat to perch on top of also.

Product was as described and was easy to put together. HOWEVER the base of the shaft is only attached to the shaft by the sinal/carpet that is wrapped around it, it is not fixed in place. This causes a noticable lean when weight was put against it - like cats do when they are scratching.We tried driving nails AND screws into it too secure it but they would only hold until it was turned upright. The heavy baseboard ripped them out and our efforts amounted to nothing.

This fits in our lounge room well and he is hat more interested in scratching this pole, and climbing it, than he is the furniture. It’s well made, keeps him active - he will be 10 this year, and it’s fun to see him sit on the top and watch us humans wander around. Well worth buying. It’s well made and very stable.
Bought as a replacement for a giant cast castle that has seen better days on the scratch posts. My cats love it as it's tall so they can stretch while scratching. The heavy base works well to stop tipping.
The item is not sturdily attached to the base. It appears as though the tower itself is not secured to the squared based that attaches to the larger floor base, and rocks back and forth held only by the material around it. The cats have also not touched it in the month I've had the tower.
Great size, perfect for our two cats. Very slightly unstable - the screws holding the base to the post could be a little longer to be perfect but I would still highly recommend.
When this came wI as actually shocked with the size, I anticipated it to be slightly smaller so I should have taken more note of the measurements. Nonetheless, this is one of the best things I have ever purchased for my cats. They LOVE it and has stopped them from the odd scratch on the couch as they cannot resist. Highly recommend
It’s perfect and the price is on point for something that due to its shape will last longer than a round pole type scratching post. Both cats love it and one of them is the fussiest little girl
Strong durable and good quality scratching post. Easy to assemble and comes with the allen key tool to use. The cat was super excited about the new scratching post before I even finished assembling it. Postage of item was fast.
