Overall:I picked this up months ago and I was impressed from the get go. This guitar has amazing pick ups, the neck smooth as any of my RG's. THe locking tremolo system is really good and tuning stability is good as well.

this plays like a dream and is incredibly versatile,the playability is actually insane, i've been using old fixer upper guitars for 6 years and to finally play a proper Ibanez is fantastic!

This review is for the Ibanez RG320PG - Creation Series guitars!!!!!

These guitars are limited edition "Creation Series" RG320PG by Ibanez with 'paper art' finish. There are five in the whole series made in 2008. What players don't realize that the "paper art' finish, which is like a satin with a very light clear coat actually contributes great tone to these guitars. Nice full body tones and warm midrange similiar to higher end models. The standard RG320 has a thick clear coat poly coat which is standard on most guitars and gives bright and often thinner tones. The thick finish does protect these models and with the RG320PG (paper art), I find the lighter finish does an adequate job - although some reviews have the paper coming off. I own two RG320 PG and have not had this problem - but I keep them in a hard case when not played. I love the shark teeth inlays and also like the Ibanez locking trem better than a standard Floyd Rose. The Ibanez locking trem seems more stable than some Floyds. Lastly, the standard Ibanez PUPs - Infinity 3 and 4 are really great (I don't hear any need for upgrading) and are wired with the 5 way switch for single coil tapping in the 2 and 4 positions. So, you can all kinds of tones out these guitars. They play great like most Ibanez necks - really fast. I would like to get the other three (I have the "Dark Skulls" and "Warning Signs") in the series, but most players are holding on to theirs and I couldn't afford them anyway. I got both of mine off Ebay for about $240/each in mint condition which is near half off the new street price. Great guitars - you won't be disappointed.
