Ibanez RGRTB621 BKF Electric Guitar - Black Flat

(7 reviews)

The Ibanez RGRTB621 BKF Iron Label Electric Guitar, finished in Black Flat, was created with metal, and nothing but metal, in mind. This model is the culmination of years of Ibanez' tweaking and modding their Iron Label series, until they created the heaviest-hitting shred machines that they've ever built. You won't find a single feature on the purposefully spartan RG that doesn't contribute directly to producing bone rattling, earth shattering tones that get you hooked, and make you never want to put this guitar down. With blacked out aesthetics, and supercharged electronics, this is one seriously metal axe. The Ibanez RGRTB621 BKF features a thin, flat and fast Nitro Wizard 5pc Maple/Walnut through-neck design; this ultra-playable design lets you shred comfortably for hours. An Ebony fretboard produces tight lows and mid range, strong attack in the high end, and features a quick response and rich sustain. Nyatoh wings provide rich mids and lows, rounding out the RGRTB621's tonal profile. These tonewoods are matched perfectly with a pair of DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickups. These pickups were developed through close collaboration between DiMarzio and Ibanez, and are purpose-engineered to create a powerful, distinctive tone with a crisp, cutting high end, and a tight, compressed bottom end, minus any muddy mid-range. The dyna-MIX10 switching system with Alter Switch makes this versatile combination even more versatile, with 10 distinct tonal variations available, with different combinations of humbucker, single-coil and power tapped tones. Gotoh MG-T Locking machine heads provide reliable tuning stability, and a mono-rail bridge offers maximum playing comfort and exceptional sustain.
