Ibanez RX70QAL TBB Electric Guitar Left Handed Transparent Blue Burst
This guitar is essentially new. Played long enough to make sure everything was repaired and functioning properly. The tone control was not working from the factory. Now fixed with a .022 (instead of the .047) mfd tone cap and tidying up the wiring. Strung up with 9's from the factory. The neck is typical Ibanez - slender, flat and fast. No fret sprout at this time. Plastic is still on the back of the tuning keys. Good, inexpensive Lefty guitars are hard to come by. Here's a great playing, great sounding real beauty for a great deal. Includes manual, truss rod wrench and tremolo (whammy) bar.

Being a left handed guitarist really kinda sucks. Guitars are more expensive and don’t have many color options. Well Ibanez has our backs with this wonderful starter axe. This thing plays and sounds amazing and for the money I don’t think another company can compete with this model. If you have been thinking about getting this do it! Well worth the money

I'm a lefty but like most lefties, have adapted to a right-handed world, which included right-handed guitars. As I get older, my stronger left side is easier to use, though, so I decided to try a lefty guitar. It's wonderful and I feel more comfortable than ever. Don't let the price fool you; it's a great guitar. Plus, as most lefties would tell you, our selections of guitars and basses are generally very limited to colours like black, maybe white, and a red shade - which we get to pay 20% extra for. To find a guitar that's not an overused colour, is great.

I purchased the guitar as a back up guitar having purchased an Epiphone from AMS. I've had it about one month but have not used it much because I am waiting for delivery of a hard case. Not much information about which one fits a left handed Gio but found the W250 Ibanez case that should work. AMS did not have the case and ordered it from another company and still waiting for delivery. Not sure about expectations yet but I would likely change the pick-ups but otherwise its hard to tell whether this is an inexpensive or expensive electric guitar. Pretty satisfied right now.

Friendly seller bargain me an upgrade to grg model because the grx out of stock. Overall the product works fine and arrive in good condition.
David picked this guitar for me and he did a great job and service. Sounds really great and stays in tune. You can't beat it for the price and sounds like an expensive guitar. Thank you Dave Wharton!
Overall:I play right handed guitar upside down ( I am really a drummer ) and decided to try and learn the "proper" way with an actual left handed guitar . Forget it ! It's way too hard for me after playing upside down all these years . But as for the guitar , it really is a very nice and well made inexpensive model. I would recommend this guitar for any beginner or advanced player for that matter. The quilted blue finish is beautiful and is a bit darker than the picture online. It has a nice raunchy sound as well as a nice clean tone also if you choose. Stays in tune very well. All in all , for $249 it is a good deal. I just don't have the patience right now to relearn holding the chords the right way. So it's upside down for me . I play that way because my brother ... MoreOverall:I play right handed guitar upside down ( I am really a drummer ) and decided to try and learn the "proper" way with an actual left handed guitar . I play that way because my brother is a right handed guitarist and I watched how he held chords , so I turned his guitar upside down and held them the same way . People always freak out when I play their right handed guitar. It has gotten me plenty of free beers at beach parties !! Rock on !!
Sound:I am relatively new to playing lefty, having injured my left hand so I had to switch so I could play normal chords. Switching has been tough, but this guitar has been really excellent for the most part. I had to adjust the action because it was way too low, and changed the strings, but it sounds really good and it's comfortable. For the price, I can't imagine finding anything better. It also looks better than the pictures.Features:The strings it comes with are bad, but that's no big deal. The guitar has a ton of versatility thanks to the pickup configuration. I paired it with my Blackstar HT20 amp head and 2x12 cabinet and I have no complaints on the tone at all. Especially for 250 dollars. The value of this guitar is incredible. It holds it's tune pretty well and the tremolo is a nice touch.Ease of Use:It's got a 5 way switch with 3 pickups and each switch gives you a distinct tone. I have had much more expensive guitars with less versatility. I can't really speak to playability too much, but as I said... out of the box the action made the guitar pretty much unplayable but that's an easy fix and probably not the same for every guitar. The neck feels good and I have been improving on it very quickly.Quality:The quality seems ok. The flamed maple top is clearly not actually a flamed maple top but it still looks good. It's darker than the pictures, which I am actually thankful for. Seems solid.Value:This is the best beginner guitar I could recommend for a lefty. The price to value ratio is unmatched. It's even possible to upgrade the pickups later for a more customized sound which makes this guitar infinitely playable and it will be a staple in my collection going forward.Manufacturer Support:Have not had to talk to Ibanez.Overall:You can't beat this guitar on value.
I'm just getting started on playing guitar and this was my first purchase. Has a great sound and feels very good to play(for me at least)
Overall:I have been playing this guitar for almost four months and I am surprised. It sounds good, stays in tune and play's good.I went to a heavy set of strings and that made for a better sound. Overall it's a good guitar.
Great guitar! Smooth clean sound, great feel and paint quality is on point!
