I have to say that I was expecting to not like this socks, I have cool lite socks and I have never felt more comfortable on a pair of socks mh whole life. I got a pair of these to see if I would like them since all my cool lite socks are about to break. I have to admit that I do really like them and are very comfortable, they are not as comfortable and they don't feel as nice as cool lite but they are the next best thing I have found!

I wanted a pair of tin wool sock to keep my feet warm but also restrict the order. Some of my shoes are tighter and so I can't wear them in the winter with my normal socks. These allow me to wear those shoes. Me feet are always cold and so I like warmer shoes, but then that can lead to odors, which is why I wanted wool. So far, these are exactly what I was looking for. I hope that they are durable and I can wear them long term, but I don't have any reason to think that they won't last.

These are my favourite liner socks for hiking! I pair them with Icebreaker's anatomical merino wool hiking socks, or merino socks from other brands. They are the best I've found in terms of not shifting around beneath the other sock. The customer service was also amazing when I got a hole in one of my first pair of these. They gave me a coupon code to replace them right away! I love companies that actually live up to their guarantees. Thanks Icebreaker!

I just used these for a week of hiking in Yellowstone. I had an almost-healed blister near my left bunion, but I'm breaking in new hiking boots and it aggravated the blister. I normally don't use liners with my merino hiking socks, but I put these on and they really helped. They are very light weight and not bulky, and very comfortable next to the skin. My outer socks were very wet from sweat (inside GoreTex boots), but the liners stayed nearly dry and I did not develop any new blisters. I wear an 8.5 in a regular shoe and 9 in hiking/running shoes and the medium fit great. Would definitely buy them again.
These socks are multi-functional. I wear them as liner socks when hiking and as a light sock to wear with certain shoes and slippers. In winter I wear them every day. As a hiking liner, I appreciate that they are wool (no stink) and don't need to be laundered at the end of each hike.
I absolutely love these liner socks! They are comfortable and fit my wide feet and ankles, staying in place without being too tight. They fit perfectly under my hiking and walking socks and the wicking action keeps my feet dry and warm.
Not that anyone seems to be going into an office for work, but was looking for a high quality trouser sick that wasn't thick. I ordered and returned the ultra light trouser sock which was still to thick for my liking with my booties. This liner is thicker than an opaque tight/sock, but thinner than the ultralight wool sports socks, which to me is perfect for workwear with some cushioning. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I wish it was either longer or shorter. It comes to my miscalf and slides down so I can really wear it with my 3/4 pants. Either way will wear this plenty.I wear a women's size 6 and got a small, and it fits. Just not super snug so if you're smaller than 6, this will likely be too loose.
These are excellent socks for wearing with dress boots. They are fine Merino wool and thus warm, non-stinky and non-sweaty. They can definitely be worn for several days so will be particularly good for travel. The forefoot is not bulky and does not make dress boots tight. The leg/ankle of the sock stays put. They size is as claimed and they did not shrink in the wash. I recommend.
I bought these liner socks because I have always had a terrible time with blisters (even with old shoes/boots). So I like to wear a liner, with a heavier pair on top for long hikes. When I got these, I decided to try them out, and I love them so much I ordered a couple more pairs. I wear them alone with my snow boots, and my feet have been warm and comfy. I haven't worn them on a long hike, and would add another pair on top if I were to do that, but I really love them just as regular everyday light socks as well. Very happy, and I will slowly be replacing all my socks with various Icebreaker Merino socks:-)
I have been buying Icebreaker socks for years. Sadly the quality and durability has steadily declined. This last version of hikers tear easily due to the meshing. I pulled up one sock and it tore on the top and the other split at meshing. New guarantee policy means socks are not guaranteed and impossible to exchange!
