The fabric of this top is the softest wool I've ever felt, and thicker than most wool base layers. It will keep my daughter warm and cozy in school this winter with all the windows open due to COVID! Only a size 14 was available, so I got it for my 9 year old daughter (size 10/12) thinking she could use it next year, but she'll be able to wear it this year after all with the sleeves rolled up - and probably for a couple more years after this. Great purchase!

I am petite and I chose this size which suits me perfectly. I used it for a 12 days trekking in Nepal. Very nice material, very good quality. I hope it will last long. Nice feeling on skin. Very happy about this purchase and I will definitely buy icebreaker again.

We bought a 4T for our 2 year old daughter so that we could layer with it and wouldn't outgrow it right away. It's slightly big but still fits. Material is great at temperature regulating. Will buy this product again and again as she outgrows it.

Versatile base layer for temps in the teens (need more top layers) to the 30s and activities from walking/hiking to running. The collar appears to run shorter than an adult version but otherwise works well. After sweating/activity, it is still comfortable to wear and doesn't stink.
I've heard many good things about Icebreaker, so I wanted to treat myself to one. But I also am a careful/stingy spender with a smaller body proportion, so I decided to try out the kids' version in a size 14. The length and the shoulder width is surprisingly perfect (although I like my base layers kind of snug). The only thing if I was being nit-picky is that the sleeves are a bit short on me, so the finger holes don't necessarily reach to a natural spot, but it's not really a deal breaker and they do still fit without much of a stretch.
We have been buying these for years now, for our children and an elderly aunt in Canada who really feels the cold in winter. They all love them. Lightweight. Add a great layer of cosiness. Best base layer I have come across. Really does the job of creating a warm cosy foundation, which means one can keep warm whether going for a cold winter walk or skiing, or keeping warm at home when the heating is off but it suddenly seems a bit cold.

My son is 5 and he's fairly petit but the size 6 fitted a bit small.The arms are maybe 2-3" too long which is no big deal but I think the body length should be maybe 2" longer. It comes just slightly below his belly button. I was on the fence about exchanging for an 8 but a bit of a pain to send back. I think it should be longer so you could tuck it in if being used as a base layer or active activities like skating so no wind sneaks in.It is a high quality product if the best is what you're looking for. Hopefully it fits well.Both kids skate for 2-3hrs at a time almost daily, they'll go through 1-2 changes a day. These have been awesome in comparison to synthetic fibers. It seems to dry quicker and insulate a lot better. On long days the kids may even go right to sleep in the base layer.
The item is true to size and match the colour in person. I've used it in 3-4 snowboarding trips. It's warm and has a thumb hole which makes it a great base layer so you don't lose your sleeve when you put on other layers.
Was concerned it'd be itchy directly on skin but it turned out to be softer than expected! That being said my daughter is probably average sensitivity. I was also unsure whether the shoulders would be wide enough but that wasn't an issue either (she's tall for her age 165 cm).
I'm an adult, exactly 164 cm tall and normally wear a women's XXS/00 or kids' 14. I ordered the 14 in this top and it's absolutely perfect. Loose without being baggy (I don't like my base layers too snug), and the body and sleeve lengths are just right. The wool is also incredibly soft; almost surprisingly so. Not even a hint of itchiness. I foresee getting a ton of use out of this top on my upcoming trip to Scandinavia.
