Icon MB-03 Desk Mount Scissor Style Microphone Stand

My first mic situation, using a fairly heavy condenser mic. It was easy to set up and is doing the job well. I would definitely ensure that the tensions are appropriately set for the mic.

Solid and big enough for most studios. Strong spring and holds position well. A nice large reliable clamp also. It would be nice to be able to remove or swap out the built in cable for one of better quality though.

Got this as an open box special. Solid stand for the price, feels like it'll last a good while.Pros:- Easily supports dynamic mics and lighter condensor mics on the lowest spring tension. I would easily trust this to hold up a mobile phone, GoPro or other small lightweight camera.- Straightforward design is quick and easy to adjust, modify, dis- and reassemble if needed.- Included cable seems to be fine, I can't fault it for my purposes (a couple of hours per week of online teaching, and some spoken voice recordings).Cons:- Struggles a little bit to support heavier condensor mics + shockmount, even on the highest spring tension. Easily removed with side cutters, but you know...Note: If clamping to your desk, use a little wooden shim (like a strip of 12mm plywood) on the underside to prevent the bare steel disk from marring your furniture.

Great quality materials, very sturdy with desk clamp, or screw mount option. Excellence customer service, I recommend Manny's for your musical/studio needs.

Does the job. Clamping mechanism is a little archaic but works ok. Great product

It does the job and is cheap. Includes a Canon cable built into the arm.

It works, but it could be better. Sometimes it is hard to keep the stand in a nice position. I’m using the Rode NT2A and it seems heavy for it, it can hold in place but every screw is tighten up really hard.
