Icon Plastic Garbage Bin and Lid 75L HWGRB075BK

I bought 4 of these bins because they are apparently made in Australia. They were replacements for bins that lasted a few years under heavy duress ie carrying loads up to 40kg, slid across reinforced concrete and tipped daily into food preparation mixes. The handles are brittle and exploded in both mine and employees hands while lifting. The bottoms cracked under the pressure after only 3 days of use. The polymers are flimsy and split in all areas. Do not recommend this brand (icon plastics 75L garbage bin) certainly do not waste your hard earned money! By the way each were purchased for ~ $35 are now reduced... to figure.

Purchased one of these bins to mix up a brew of prepcoat/scratch coat to apply for preparation works for swimming pool resurfacing, and just literally mixed up a half load in to, and the bottom cracked and wasted an entire day and half brew and cost me the whole rest of the day to clean up.I have never had one of these black bins crack or break on me before and super-high MPa material just busted out going everywhere. And that was only half a brew (approx 50L/60kgs) of white cement, 702, 751, Bondcrete and river sand. Hundreds of dollars of material lost and whole days worth of money, time and progress lost and delayed.

I have purchased two of these and within 6 months both Bin and lid had cracks. Poor quality. Plastic is brittle or not suitable for UV light outside.”And not treated harshly.”I have a Willow (Brand) bin which has lasted 15 years outside.
