The Essence pitcher, measuring 1 litre in capacity, is a great addition to Iittala’s Essence glassware collection. The tall and narrow pitcher is mouth-blown from dark grey glass and can be used to serve all cold drinks from water and juice to wine and mixed drinks. Designed by Alfredo Häberli, the Essence collection was created as a simpler option for having a wide range of wine and beer glasses: the collection consists of only a few essential glasses that can be used in many ways, as well as a multifunctional pitcher. The Essence collection has won the iF Design Award and Les Découvertes Award; its simplicity, beauty and functionality has made Essence a staple of modern Scandinavian design.
