When I bought the Klippan loveseat back in July of 2021, I got the "multicolor" pull-on cover with the cubes on it.It wasn't a tight squeeze into my room, but it certainly made me prioritize what I had within my immediate space given that the photos really don't do the size of this thing justice. It's huge, fam.Despite taking up half the floor in my master bedroom, I think the loveseat is comfortable. Comfortable and very supportive of my back.Putting the seat together was easy with someone helping me out. Assembly always goes much quicker with extra hands. I would definitely recommend this loveseat to anyone looking for a sharp and simple design to compliment their room.

Bought as come with cheap replacement covers as my cats have ruined so many sofas. Is fairly comfortable with few extra cushions for back. Covers are amazing, cat hairs wipe off easily and they gave hardly touched it. Where they have snagged itit easily popped back in with fine needle. Have a spare cover but probably won't use for a while🤞Quick and fairly easy to put together. Re-tightened straps after a week.

We purchased 2 covers for the IKEA Klippan sofas. The general quality is good and the fit is almost perfect as you’d expect for an original cover. The cover needs some work to push down fully into place, and position perfectly and you’ll need to iron it lightly first or use a steamer to remove all the wrinkles from being packaged. The bottom of the cover isn’t elastic as you’d expect and instead has Velcro all the way around to stick to reverse Velcro underneath the base of the sofa. Our sofas didn’t have any reverse Velcro strips so we had to purchase them separately and install under the sofa to finish fixing the covers neatly in place. Another solution is to use a staple gun, but then it’s difficult to remove the covers in the future to wash them. It would be ... MoreWe purchased 2 covers for the IKEA Klippan sofas. I absolutely love the aesthetics of this item however, I'm utterly disappointed with the ergonomics. I recently noticed having chronic hip aches after sitting in it. Thought it was just me until my pregnant wife confirmed she was experiencing the same aches. Not what I expected. We have stopped sitting in it.
We purchased 2 of these for a small living room and ordered extra covers. We keep rotating them around to get even use and they already feel broke down. They are not comfortable and been having neck issues since sitting on it. It puts your neck in an awkward position to holding it up at an angle. I have to put a pillow behind me to keep my neck straight. We have no boxes for return?. Not sure my hubby wants to haul them back to the store as that can be a challenge but I would return if I could. I also don’t like the covers have to be tied to the bottom under the sofa. One person can not flip it over to get the hoops to go around the springs, you will weaken the legs doing that. Also the plastic tubes to keep the cover in the corners does not work and they come out ... MoreWe purchased 2 of these for a small living room and ordered extra covers. I owned a whole set of Klippan in the past and they were great comfortable couches. Unfortunately there has been a change. They are not as comfortable as they were nor like the demo in store. The cushions are very firm. If the demo had been the same I would not have purchased this couch.
I have purchased 3 of these over time to replace one another. Each one has been engineered to weigh less; lower quality fabrics, less dense padding, thinner particle board, one less seat cover tube! This third and recent (final) Klippan is terrible. Two months of use and it creaks loudly every time someone sits or gets up. It's not a 'break in period' or anomaly, it's a knock off of the original design. The seat cushions are already worn in. The manufacturer is more concerned with building an inferior version of a great original design to offset fuel costs to ship this product in from overseas? or make a quick buck? than maintain quality of the original product design. It is now essentially furniture for kids who weigh under 80 pounds. I'd rather pay the extra $200 ... MoreI have purchased 3 of these over time to replace one another. It is now essentially furniture for kids who weigh under 80 pounds. I'd rather pay the extra $200 for a higher quality model of Klippan like the first one purchased a decade ago. If this 'timeless classic' design is any basis, the company has no consistency of product and cuts every corner to maintain a low price point.
This is an easy to assemble lightweight couch that gets the job done. Aesthetically it's beautiful and modern, but it's not as comfortable as we had hoped. The back of the couch is low and doesn't offer much support. We use over sized pillows behind our head and neck for support. Also, it's short. 2 adults and a small child could sit on this couch but 3 adults would be a bit too much. If you're a shorter person, you could lie down on it but a person of about 5'10 may be uncomfortable. It takes a few times sitting down on the couch to break it in. When it was delivered it was stiff almost to the point of discomfort. The material softens over time. I like the fact that the covering is removable for washing purposes, which is a bonus for anyone with small children.
I recently purchased 2 x three seater klippan sofa's in blue. They are super easy to assemble and the blue is great, not too bright more of a deep sea blue. Originally I read reviews and decided not to purchase, then I went into the store and talked to staff. This sofa is long so you can stretch out and wide enough to comfortably lie on. The seat cushions are firm but they're really comfortable. I figure the firmer the better, buy something soft and squishy and it's not going to last the distance. Yes the arms are low so I purchased 5 cushions, cushion covers and a throw which compliment the sofa and you can put them behind your head if you want to lay down and watch tv. I've found the lower arms way more comfortable than my last couch with higher arms, no more ... MoreI recently purchased 2 x three seater klippan sofa's in blue. Yes the arms are low so I purchased 5 cushions, cushion covers and a throw which compliment the sofa and you can put them behind your head if you want to lay down and watch tv. I've found the lower arms way more comfortable than my last couch with higher arms, no more stiff neck from laying at an odd angle. I didn't want to pay a alot as I have kids and dogs so I wanted something strong, sturdy, comfortable which looks good. I got everything I wanted by buying the Klippan. No more dark dreary black leather, we now have comfort and colour in our house. I've bought from well known stores and had to return everything after receiving faulty, scratched furniture straight out of the box. I have never ever had that problem once with IKEA products.
I'm glad to have opportunity to review Klippan. In two ways it meets exactly what I wanted: solid full length seat cushion and adequately high arm rests. But ALL ikea sofas are too low, the seat height would be SO much better if it were, if the legs were, two to four inches taller. My other rather serious complaint is that the back is a bit under-structured. It could use more height and it could use more cushioning. It's just as well, it discourages long evenings of slouching in front of TV. Overall, the solid bench is the sine qua non! And the great price left room in the budget for side tables etc. (Compare to the Lindome which has better upper-body height although sloping seat area ruins it; less utilitarian upholstery and it's not the solid bench type.)
