Big disappointment

I'm a huge fan of Ikea but this set of drawers is a big disappointment. I wasn't expecting very strong drawers for the price but it's the white plastic screws that will bring you to tears. I broke most of them trying to get them in. They are brutal on your thumbs because the only way you can get them in the hole is pushing as hard as you can with your thumb. Most of them won't fit through both the holes so you cannot build the drawers. I had to go out and buy a separate set of screws to finish the project. They give you a few metal screws to build the initial frame of the drawers and I wish that Ikea would just give you those screws to build the whole thing and get rid of these white plastic screws. Probably would cost more but it would be worth it. I usually look ... MoreI'm a huge fan of Ikea but this set of drawers is a big disappointment. I love you Ikea but this one's a fail.

Buying my third one

I have two of these and just ordered a third. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. It wasn't difficult to assemble and gets the job done. It's small and is useful if you need to tuck it away in narrow areas. It is made of mesh so maybe not the sturdiest thing in the world but I still find it durable enough for different uses. I have used them in the bathroom which is great for extra toiletry items, in the kitchen for tools and snacks, and under my desk for office supplies. I store a stack of baking pans on top of one in the kitchen and it is not warping or caving in from the weight. Would I put my heaviest Dutch oven on top of it? Probably not. But it is a great little piece and fantastic value for the price.

One of the worst products of Ikea, it feels like you have collected some scrap from dumpster, and you have created it at the garage. I know it is cheap, but still, I don't want to waste money, even if it is cheap.Literally, it is cheap and a waste of money. This product irritated me to the point that I write this review, and this is my first ever review of Ikea products! Can you imagine that I have never written any review about Ikea products, but this one forced me to!Ikea I recommend you to discontinue this cheap and poor quality product, I can't count how many F words I cursed IKEA for this product!

Great price and easy to assemble
4 June 2024

I picked one of these up in store and came here to buy a second one as part of a delivery order. I'm actually shocked by the poor reviews from others, especially around assembly. I easily assembled everything myself within ten minutes and had no problem with the little pin connectors. Actually, I thought it was a really clever way to fasten everything together. They pushed in and clicked easily for me. I use it to store paper for craft projects, including packs of heavyweight cardstock and reams of thicker paper. The only thing I don't care for is the necessity of putting the two casters on (mine sits on top of a workbench and I have no need to roll it anywhere). You can't leave the casters off because the legs, for lack of a better word, have a height difference to ... MoreI picked one of these up in store and came here to buy a second one as part of a delivery order. But overall, very happy - can't beat the price.

I'm a fan of IKEA. Not this one though.
30 December 2023

I have 10s of IKEA products over many years and most of the time I'm happy with my purchases. Not this one.Seeing the reviews, people complain about the plastic pieces but I don't have any problems with that. The problem is the top square metal frame. It's one piece bent at 4 corners. That means the 2 ends need to be connected somewhere. They chose to connect it in the middle of one side and that connection is really fragile.I purchased 3 of this. When the first one broke on that connection, I thought I made that broken line. When I was about to assemble the 2nd unit, I realized that there's a fragile connection on the side and it was too easy to bend/break.No, I wasn't planning to put heavy items on top, but this one looks like it's just a matter of time before ... MoreI have 10s of IKEA products over many years and most of the time I'm happy with my purchases. Not this one.Seeing the reviews, people complain about the plastic pieces but I don't have any problems with that. The problem is the top square metal frame. I'm returning all of them.In my opinion, this does not meet IKEA quality and standard.

It’s good, but manage your expectations…
6 November 2023

These shelves had the perfect dimensions to fit in the open cupboard space underneath my bathroom counter - I bought two shelves, one for either side of the sink. The price also was a deciding factor. I didn’t need them to be pretty since they were going to be hidden all the time behind the cupboard doors…which is great because they do look pretty “cheap”. Like others have said, the plastic pieces do break easily when you’re trying to put the little drawers together, so you have to go slow and be careful when inserting them. They gave a couple extra in the packaging in case some broke I am guessing - we used all the spares. Also the back of the drawers don’t have a “stop” so if you pull on the drawer too far, it will just pull right out and fall on the ground. Materials had metal splinters
13 June 2024

Everything is made out of metal and some of the printed out sheet metal still had unrefined edges which leads to your hands or fingers getting splinters of metal when brushing up against it or using the trays.I wouldn't recommend this product and I would return to IKEA the next occasion I have. The assembly was also finicky, not that easy even though I am very good builder. I think the quality of material was just not up to good standards. Thin and not worth it.

So Frustrating
28 August 2024

While the casing went together easily, the drawers proved impossible to put together. The little plastic pins, meant to snap into each other, kept unsnapping, and once off, we found we could not use them again. So, now we have the outside but no drawers; all four drawers have connectors that popped apart. There has to be a better way to connect the drawer parts than those small (and fragile) plastic push-together pins that don't stay pushed together.
