I purchased 3 of these for my classroom kidney shaped table. I teach 3rd grade (8 yr olds). The kids who sit on these stools sometimes rock back and forth on them, as squiggly kids sometimes do. The motion over time eventually wears down the cheap plastic that connects the legs to the seat of the stool. One day, one of my students sitting on the stool completely fell because of the wobbly leg. I'm debating whether to replace these chairs with more sturdy stools, but the IKEA pricing has a hold on me. Just remember you get what you pay for. Not recommended for heavy use.

Easy and quick to assemble. Looks stylish and minimalist, especially as a set. The black-coloured stool looks futurist. Great price. Good for guests for a couple of hours but best to get a circular cushion of a suitable diameter for use with a desk for several hours. Takes my weight (I'm an adult male). Not for stepping on. Not recommended for outdoors as concrete floor will scrape base of leg (and seat if you topple it) though this isn't an issue an indoors.

I bought 4 of these 2 years ago as flexible seating for my high school classroom. They are small for some high schoolers, but they work for my needs if we are doing group assignments or kids just need a change of seat. I love that they stack together. I bought 6 more this year because my students use them daily. Great value!

This is perfect I use it in shower as I am hearing impaired and I don’t like showers so I have a shower to wash myself which I can control and o sit on the stool . It’s fantastic. I am not paying ridiculous money for specially chair so I don’t slip or fall over . This is perfect and great design and value. Highly recommend for people who need extra support in k in wet room or shower room

I purchased this to have an extra stool or side table on hand. I paid about $5 for it and thought it would be just all right, but not much beyond that. After owning and using it for a couple weeks, I’ve found it to be very comfortable, easy to store and super versatile as a stool or small side table. The low weight is also a big plus as I find myself moving to different rooms when I need an occasional stool or table. I’m thinking about buying a couple more!
We have 4 of the black Marius stool chairs and use them around an art/craft table, also purchased from IKEA. No matter if paint, glue, glitter, paper mashett, stickers, play dough or food ends up on these easy to clean chairs, they always return to as new after a good scrub. If they are beyond a sponge and spray and wipe inside after use, I pop them on the verandah and squirt them with the hose and use a hot soapy bucket and soft brush to get them back to perfectly clean. They are wonderfully stackable and you can fit them into the tiniest corner. For the great price the Marius stool chair is unbeatable.
The Marius stool is easy to assemble, very sturdy and versatile. We used it to sit on and as for a small end table with our patio furniture. The first Marius I purchased lasted about 9 years being used daily. And if all that isn’t enough the price is incredible in this time of extremely high cost of living.
