Brings soft light into any space you have! I have one in my bedroom and find it to be the perfect light to use for reading/ decompressing. Also have one in my living room on a bookshelf and evokes a moody, cozy vibe

Based on some reviews, I took the time to pick my lamp in-person. The packaging allows you to see about a quarter of the item through the box. I chose one where I could see marbling clearly, as some reviewers said some lamps don’t have much marbling. The one I got is beautiful.

Ordered online and received a gorgeous base with many thick white streaks and patterns - way better than in the pictures. It's a beautiful product but it would be better if Ikea made it more consistent seeing that many receive just a solid black base expecting a patterned piece

I bought this lamp to style in the guest bedroom on top of the bedside table and it looks great! I ended up buying another from my room. It's modern, minimalist and understated. It has a great weight to it and looks like it costs much more. I would recommend pairing it with the LUNNOM LED bulb E27 600 lumen, globe clear glass, 125 mm, as it gives it a more clean finish. I went to Ikea and got to test a few bulbs with it and found this one to look the best in my opinion. Please note as it is marble, the natural pattern varies from lamp to lamp.
I was quite disappointed with the lamp I received after ordering online. The lamps shown in the pictures have beautiful patterns on their surface, but the one I received was not marble black as described but almost solid black and looked plasticky and cheap. It did not meet my expectations at all. Based on my experience, I would not recommend buying this product online.
When I was at the IKEA store with the intention of purchasing this Markfrost table lamp, I looked through quite a few of them, these lamps looked very dull flat black with hardly any white lines on them, not even close to being a pattern-like marble. I would never believe it was a piece of real marble, it looked like cheap plastic, even being heavy. Disappointed.
I should have read the wattage/lumens, so it is partially my fault. However, this is not a table lamp. The bulb and max wattage is so low and dim it's useless for actual lighting.
I LOVE this lamp. Got lucky with an online delivery and they sent one with half decent marbling. Either way, I'd have been happy with something all black being that it's a natural stone product. I bought mine with the clear/white bulb (can't believe I committed to a lamp with such an expensive bulb - not like me at all) and I am so glad. My bedside lamp is really low and warm light (to create a healthy sleep environment) so this is perfect for my style. Will be ordering a second for the other side of the bed to have a matching set. Folks whinging about not getting one with "enough" marbling are forgetting this is a natural product and that's what makes it special.
This is not the best lamp out there, but it’s nice and stylish. I actually bought it because I wanted a lamp that used a regular bulb and most of the IKEA lamps use chandelier bulbs. It’d be great if there was an attachment to put on top for it to look better with a normal bulb.
Nice heavy minimal base. If you add the MOLNART LED bulb E26 100 lumen, globe/black clear it borders on an art piece. It’s that half black shaded round bulb with the led at the base. Truly amazing design
