I wish I returned the bed within the return window.While this bed is great for those who want extra storage, please know that this bedframe has slats that will not last. There is no support in the middle, some sort of beam to hold the slats midway.I bought the king size and within the year of purchase the slats broke. Decided to get the slats replaced during warranty period when I should have just returned the entire thing.It is heavy and difficult to move once it is assembled. This was one biggest reason I did not return it.I would not recommend this bedframe. Be cautious when buying this product. You have been warned.Ikea does not sell the slats that would fit this bed frame.

The quality of IKEA Nordli bedframe with storage is very bad, the expected duration of the bed frame is 1 year and can't last for 2 years. The bed frame will be broken but you won't be alerted during the change of bedsheet. You can only discover when you pull the whole mattress up. The customer services can't help you either. It is extremely expensive that C$1500 bedframe can only good for 1 year. This is the first time I tried IKEA bed frame, I am totally disappointed about the quality and customer services of IKEA.

Ultimately, this bed functions the way we need it to — it doesn’t take up space around the mattress and has great storage beneath. But buyer beware — this bed is a pain to get it to where you need it to. As far as the bed portion goes, you NEED to add some modality of support to it. We went with bunkie boards after narrowly avoiding ruining a new mattress with this frame. We slept on it as usual for about 5 months until the mattress was sagging and gaping in the middle and beneath our bums, which we noticed was an issue immediately.Just don’t expect to get home with this and your bed be perfect. You will need to add supports to it one way or the other.

It’s nice and sturdy. I love the extra storage drawers underneath. It took about three hours to build alone and the space was limited since I’m an accidental hoarder. Not the gross kind of hoarder that keeps used dishes and food packaging around. That’s gross. It’s a bit of a challenge to have me tied down to the bed since there’s no headboard or open space under the bed. I choose no headboard because the space and windows in my room. My mistress will have to use my kettlebells as anchors to keep me at bay when she visits for my monthly education.

I purchased both the bed and the headboard. I am satisfied with the bed as it will provide a solid base for a Queen sized mattress, and plenty of available storage. The soft-close drawers are particularly nice and roomy. The bed is not physically attached to the wall (as is the headboard), so it can be moved if necessary.Regarding assembly, the bed went together fairly easily with few issues. I only had to disassemble one portion due to unclear directions (or my misunderstanding). The "L" shaped tool provided for the proprietary head fasteners is barely sufficient and the design requires you to do lots of quarter and half-turns. So I had another one of ikea’s platform beds, the one with two drawers. This one was great I had it for five years. The lip kept the bed in place and the inside of the drawers were a DARKER GREY COLOR which matched with the black. Even though you could only see the inside of the drawers when they were opened. Then I bought this one. It’s black everywhere EXCEPT, the inside of the drawers THAT YOU CAN SEE from the outside due to the cut out. They give you anti skid stickers for your mattress that don’t really work, it’s not mattress specific being that I have an ikea mattress as well. Over all for $500 yes it’s cute but I wish they would have thought it out better. I’d expect this at the price for the other one (was $300).
