I purchased these along with some spice shelves. The jars seemed perfect - UNTIL I UNPACKED THEM from the cardboard packaging at home. One of the plastic lids is cracked. You cannot see the damage when it is in the packaging!!! I live 1.25 hours away from ikea. I called customer service to request a replacement lid. LOL. The jars are cute but impractical for labeling AND saving space since you cannot line them up on your shelf as pictured and see a label. If the lids were flat and preferably of better quality, you could easily place the cute labels found online on the lids. I ordered 48 of these and need them in alpha order in a small space. Very disappointed in that oversight. Maybe I can find lids elsewhere. Any recommendation I'd make would be qualified.

Make sure you order a Bundle or Two more than what you expect, because of the packaging - the box was too big- I had 4 broken jars, in which I accounted for. I originally needed just 30 jars, which means 8 packs for 32. I ordered 36/9 packs just in case and I am glad that I did! The jars themselves seem fine, just make sure to not use a heavy hand with them. The tops concern me since they feel and look very cheap. Maybe I'll spray something on them to strength them. Will buy more to fill my 48 spice slots.

I love the design of these jars. They are aesthetically pleasing and allow me to see the spices I put inside of them. Plus, you know when you buy a jar of spices at the store and then come home to decant them into your own spice rack only to find that you can only fit half the jar's contents? Not with these spice jars! They fit the amount of spices you buy and then some! LOVE these.
Note: The lid is not metal. It is plastic which is better in this case for various reasons. It is just the lid and doesn’t touch items inside; better air sealing than a metal lid and dishwashable without a worry.I really liked the shape of the jar; the unusual cut on oneside provides better grip to hold it with one hand.
I like these jars, easy to use and handle. But the lids break fast. Please make the lids available as a seperate accessory. Then we don't have to throw away the jars whose lids get broken.
Bought about a month ago. Looks functional and useful for the price but honestly it is better to pay slightly more and get better product which can last few more months than few days. It is high time, Ikea needs to look at a strong brand and pricing strategy rather than being a dumping ground for low-cost cheap and bad products. This is not the first product and certainly won’t be the last product to get bad review. The review process is to improve Ikea’s image without diluting customer satisfaction.
I have just finished doing an organisational revamp to my kitchen pantry and needed a storage solution for the many herbs and spices. The Rajtan jars are perfect! They are big enough to fit most standard store bought herb packets, but small enough to fir neatly together in pantries. I like the clear glass for ease of seeing inside, and silver lid makes them stylish looking.Very good value for money coming in a pack of four for $3.00.
Super cute to keep sugar and cream on our coffee bar while guests are here. My favorite is using them for my premixed spice blends. They store well and they’re easy to access.
I bought this with the plan to obviously put all my spices in them. I had everything prepared so when they came I could get organized What I didn't even pick up on is that there are no shakers on these jars. So for your salts, powders, etc, this will be useless, and will not help in the elimination of the ugly odd sized everyday spices/seasonings you use. Back to the drawing board. And to add salt to injury, I now have to pay to send it back. 1st and last time I will shop online at Ikea. Before you ask, no I can't return it to a nearby store that is 2 hours away. Hope it works for you.
