All instructions were followed which was pretty easy. First thing, the middle support was not included with the bed. After we put it together we realized it was missing. We had to return to the store to obtain the missing item. The most disappointing part is that the bed collapsed on one side as my daughter was asleep. She’s a tiny thing. Upon further inspection we noticed that the rails were not evenly aligned. One side of the bed is higher than the other. I will be returning this for a refund. I’m very disappointed and glad my child was not hurt.

This is a very cheaply made bed. It’s basically cardboard. It’s breaks as you assemble it. It was a waste of my money. I bought it today and as soon as we put it together you can se the parts are breaking apart already. I had never bought furniture from IKEA, this was the fist time and it was a huge mistake. You can find a basic white bed for the same price at Ashley and it will be better quality for sure.

The Quality was better than I had imagined. Extremely sturdy and looks very classy. I purchased the Lonset bed slats and it certainly makes a difference. What I didn't realise and found very helpful was that there are 3 various heights you can place your bed base to and this governs the actual height of your overall mattress. I personally placed it on the highest setting to enable me to step off the mattress rather than lift myself off the mattress and it enabled me when making the bed to do so with ease. With securing the mattress on the highest level it did however decrease the amount of bedhead I had available to rest up against. The drawers underneath are fabulous for storage. Best off to store things you don't need to get to often. The assembly of the bed was not too difficult at all. In saying that, you will need two people towards the end of the assembly due to the weight of some of the components. This is possibly not a bed I would purchase if you plan on moving around alot as it is a very sturdy and heavy piece of furniture to continually dismantle and reassemble.Overall I give this bed and it's functionality 5/5

Love this bed for my daughter. It looks great and is very sturdy. My only criticism is that the draws are not physically attached to the bed underneath - they are on wheels so they just slide in under the bed. It’s abit heavy for my daughter to pull open by herself and I fear it will damage the carpet after a while. The carpet is thick. So instead of using it for toys, I’ve stored off-season clothing and bedding inside.
You buy a bed because you need to sleep on one. You buy an IKEA bed because it is affordable and convenient. You buy IKEA because you expect that there will be no missing pieces, or that the store or the online customer support will be able to assist you in rectifying any issues ASAP. However this was not my experience. The bed I received came with a built in piece missing. You can refer to the bottom of page 20 in the instruction manual where you will see there should be built in washers to insert the provided screws into. Two of the four necessary washers were missing. You can't insert washers yourself. I called IKEA customer support AND I went to the store. Both times they tried to gaslight me into thinking nothing was wrong. There is obviously something wrong - ... MoreYou buy a bed because you need to sleep on one. Despite multiple attempts to have them replace the footboard, I still have received nothing. The bed stands half built and I have had no bed to sleep in for the past week. This was a scam.
I had an extremely frustrating experience with this product. The assembly process was extremely difficult, requiring advanced carpentry skills. The quality of the wood was very poor, and I ended up breaking it while trying to assemble it. The main fixing screws did not work properly, and it took me around 2 hours to adjust the main block of the frame. Additionally, the Luroy slatted bed base that I ordered was of very low quality, not securely fixed to the bed frame. Even the slightest movement would cause it to dislodge, posing a risk of falling.Recommendations: If you decide to purchase this product, I strongly suggest using Ikea's assembly service, although it will incur additional costs. Otherwise, you may find yourself needing to dispose of the product. ... MoreI had an extremely frustrating experience with this product. I am a great fan of IKEA and always buy stuff for my home. I buy the SONGESAND Bed 3 years ago, now its center beam is broken, the clips are damaged which give the main support to the beam. I want a replacement for the clips and beam, throughout this bed is doing really great no issue at all. but now I need a little bit of maintenance for the central beam and supportive clips. Is there any possibility to get help for my requirements?
Very sturdy Queen bed base. It is of good quality and looks very nice assembled. The drawers fit effortlessly underneath. They roll easily and are strong and spacious. The bed and drawers were easy to assemble. All pieces lined up and went together without any hassle.I had exceptional after sales service when there was a problem with delivery.
TLDR: Bad design, legs at foot of bed causing injury to shin/knee area. This would be a great bed if it wasn’t for the legs at the foot of the bed. They stick out an inch toward the side of the bed (end isn’t flush with the side rails) and are often hidden behind the sheet/blanket that covers the bed. Why they would design it to stick out is beyond me, but if you’re not careful, you will hit your shin/knee on it!! The corner is rounded going towards the bed and sharp going away from it. We got this bed 2 years ago and it happens occasionally, however it has happened twice recently, causing me to search it’s funny name and leave this review! I literally have to use my phone light if I have to get up at night for anything, to avoid hitting it.Otherwise it is a nice ... MoreTLDR: Bad design, legs at foot of bed causing injury to shin/knee area. This would be a great bed if it wasn’t for the legs at the foot of the bed. Excellent bed. very sturdy and comfortable. People who are having issues with the bed slats slipping out of the frame put it together wrong. When we put in the part that holds the slats, there were 2 holes in the frame we could use, so be mindful that you use the one that holds the slats tight.I love that this bed is completely open underneath- I can vacuum under it, I use some storage containers from Ikea to hold bedding, and my cats can go from one side of the room to the other under the bed. They nap under it during thunderstorms, too.I was surprised that this bed is so great considering the low price, and I am very happy.
