The led panel is fixed to the surface mounting bracket by four very small screws inserted horizontally behind a lip. While it is straightforward to fix the surface mounting bracket to the ceiling, it is very difficult to insert the locking screws when vision is obscured so close to the ceiling. I am tempted to re-engineer the locking screws to take a larger dimension.

Love the product and does the job perfectly.Installed my self which took a bit, while the installation video online was helpful. I improvise to make it work.
