Our 2 boys LOVE these treats. We have a picky eater and one who will eat anything and this is a favorite of both. Our older cat recently was put on medication and these help incentivize him to take it on days he doesn't want to. There are several flavors in the box so we can mix it up and he doesnt get bored. The small packages make it easy to give to them either right from the tube or over their food.
I've never fed my cat food or treats by hand, so when I offered him this from the tube, he was a bit taken aback. After several tries, I acquiesced and put it in a bowl. He absolutely loved it! I've since offered all four flavors and he has enjoyed each one equally. Though I don't get the fun of hand feeding, I still like this product and so does Oliver!
My cat is newly adopted and she's super skittish. she likes hiding and refuse to come out. The only way we got her to come out is luring her out with Churu. And now, she approaches us and she's less skittish. A little spoiled because she paws you if she sees you holding a churu!
My furbabies love these, however, and that is the only reason why I am giving it a 4 Star instead of 5 Star... I noticed that not all tubes contain the same amount inside. The tube is the same length, but the content are not all the same, meaning, some have a little less. How do I know that? I split one tube between my 2 furbabies, and notice that the amount is less on some of the tubes, where the 2nd half, is much less then the amount I am use to giving. Maybe that is why these, and the other variety flavors cost less, even though these suppose to be the same ounces (0.5oz). With that said, I am not complaining, but do feel that we are cheated by the company (Churu, no Chewy) with the amount. With all that said, I most definitely recommend Churus. I will be ... These are my cat's absolute favorite treat! If she even sees me holding one of the pouches she comes running from across the house. I've also used these when fostering shy kitties from my local shelter, even the shiest cat can be tempted to interact when a Churu is involved!
My cat is weird and is very picky about food flavors. He loathes anything that is chicken or beef flavored, and is even picky about seafood. So I was interested to see if he'd actually enjoy these. So far, so good! He's been a bit hesitant to lick it from the tube, but I think he'll get used to that. I'd call this a win!
To anyone that says you cannot train a cat has never given this to their pet. Prepare to be rushed by your cats as soon as they hear you opening one of these. My cats love this so much that if I yell Churu they come running. As I am preparing this review using I have to be careful to not say “Churu” outloud. On a nutritional note these have almost no calories as a treat but are very good for hydration. Wonderful treat to keep around the house for cats that are lacking an appetite and may need extra hydration.
