Same issue as other reviewers - latch is 3cm from mechanism. Does not and cannot work. Waste of time to get home and return.

Got the product home. It was very poorly manufactured and the gate did not close properly. There was a 1" gap between the lock and the other side of the gate opening. Clearly wrong sized gate was used.Quality control is obviously zero.Would not recommend.

MAJOR design fault whereby the latch on the gate falls 3cm short of the locking mechanism.. as such, the gate just swings freely and makes it useless for its intended purpose. It's amazing the complete lack of quality control as it was ziptied in packing clearly in his defective state, but still made it to store shelves. On second thought, it was probably zip tied because that's the only way the gate stops swinging.Hopefully this is just a bad batch, but I haven't found any other reviews online (other than below which turned out to be true) so just putting this out there to warn others before purchasing. make sure you have refund or exchange policy in place before considering purchasing.Luckily I bought mine instore so I will be returning later today.
