I spent the extra $10 for the Pemberton bouncer because the description says it has vibration compared to the other model. This is the only reason I got the more expensive one was because of the extra feature. There is NO vibration mode on this bouncer. I checked the manual to make sure I wasn’t missing something with the buttons. The manual repeated the same exact thing wording for the bouncer mode for music mode. I’m assuming it’s a misprint. But there is no button or feature for vibration.

I do not typically write negative reviews but I am writing this out of frustration! As a first time mom I added this bouncer to my registry and have been disappointed from the moment I assembled it! First of all… the music/vibrating motor does not attach securely. When you bounce it, it dings all over the place. The automatic bounce is a joke! It bounces great when a baby is NOT in there. The main reason I chose this bouncer was because it had a cute overhead toy entertainment which is a total hassle to put on! Lastly… what is currently driving me crazy is the hard plastic below where the baby’s feet are. If my baby gets excited and kicks he will hit the plastic. Bouncer is excellent quality, however it's so heavy to lift and take with you if you have a big house.also, my baby is 3months, she likes to sit upright; you cannot change seating positions to upright or laying slouched ... for a priced bouncer you should be able to change the seating positions. If you had c section do not lift it as it's heavy. I had to buy a cheaper bouncer in the end. However quality and durability is great!

The low function is too little in my opinion, it hardly even moves. The high is what I envisioned a low to be. Without anything in the bouncer, there is minimal movement. Once the baby was placed in the bouncer, the weight of the baby made the movement even less. I wish the bouncing function was stronger.The bouncer also comes with 2 sounds: a lullaby sound and a water/nature sound. This is a welcome addition as it acts as white noise for the baby and lets you do things around the house without every noise disturbing the little one. The volume adjusts for the sounds so that it is soft and loud, with a few levels in between. The thing I do not like about the volume is that it beeps as you increase the volume. This beeping indicates to the user that the button is being pushed but it wakes up the baby. I would like the beeping to be optional.There is an included toy bar with 2 included toys that sway and keep the baby’s attention while they are awake. There are also 2 included pads that slip into the cloth base. A body bad and a head pad. The head pad is secured with Velcro into a loop into the cloth base and stays in place. The body pad has a slit that connects it to the lap belt. The body pad is not as secure as the head piece and slides around. It honestly seems like a hazard because it is not secured to the base. When trying to put the baby in, I found myself constantly adjusting it before putting the baby in and then again when the baby was placed in because it moved when trying to secure the baby with the belt. I would like it to be secured higher up in the cloth base because it does do a good job of supporting the smaller babies. The interior is super soft and has a mesh base where the baby lays for good air flow to prevent the baby from getting too hot. The mesh is easy to clean up while the soft fuzzy parts are not. The whole cloth section comes off easily for washing, which is a definite win in my book.The height and angle of the bouncer are great and functional. They moved away from the lovely and stable oval shaped base and have started using the inferior, large regtangular-ish base that most all other manufacturers use. Frame material, pieces and integrity are also much poorer quality than they used to be. Pieces easily come unsnapped. A rowdy toddler can also easily cause significant damage to this bouncer and I don't mean by sitting in it. The bouncing mechanism is much less effective because they put it at the top of the bouncer instead of the bottom. The soft material is nice, but the functional parts of the bouncer are all far worse quality than what they used to be. Very very disappointing, and seriously makes me question buying any more "ingenuity" items in the future, even though I used to love them.
We have been using the DreamComfort SmartBounce Automatic Bouncer for a little over a week and love everything about it. First off it was very easy to assemble, about 10 minutes to put together. Second and my favorite is the automatic bouncer. No more having to bounce it by hand. The movement is calming and just the perfect amount of bounce. Puts the little one right off to sleep in no time. I also like that it has two speeds. The music and sounds are relaxing and comforting too. The head and body inserts are removable for cleaning. The only issue we have noticed is that when you go to lift the baby out we almost always take the body insert with us. I wish it had a way to keep it attached better. We love it and would recommend to our family and friends with little ones.

The bounce is not too much but within the weight requirements of under 20 pounds, it does give the motion that is desired. Sometimes we have to do a more aggressive bounce that the DreamComfort SmartBounce Automatic Bouncer does not provide for the initial calming and soothing, but then we can phase that out for the bouncer to take over and bounce without help, which is a wonderful feature. I recieved this to review about a week ago. It is super cute the design is adorable. It comes in I think 10 separate pieces that were extremely easy to put together. The directions were easy to follow. The part that is the breathable fabric is nice to make the baby not sweat with a blanket however I found the fabric to be a little rough though but doesnt seem to bother him. The rest of the bouncer fabric is so soft and fuzzy. The arch has two toys attached to it and comes off easily. I wish that the toys themselves came off so I could clean them easier. The automatic bounce is awesome! No more having to use your foot to bounce the baby while doing laundry. Overall it is great quality and sturdy just wish the toys came off and the breathable mesh was a little softer.
Shocking that this has any good reviews. This is dangerous, it'll cause your infants chin to be pushed to their chest. Definitely has the capabilities to smother the infant. The mesh breathable (Greenish Material) stretches and sags causing an infant to slouch too much pushing chin to chest. The added material just makes it worst. Obviously the parents who gave good reviews don't understand that a chin to chest position for infants is serious and cause for concern. I think people designing these products are not parents, and terrible at design.
