Bouncer, Rocker, and Seat - All in 1 Piece of Gear

I love the concept of this piece of baby gear because it goes from something that a newborn can use to something that a preschooler can use. Talk about value for your money! I don't think it's the best bouncer or rocker out there, but it's decent, and the fact that it can also convert to just a stationary seat as well (that can hold up to 40 pounds!) put this into a definite consideration category. The coloring is very neutral, which is nice. Final (kind of) complaint is that the directions were picture based which is probably great for visual people, but I had to spend a fair amount of time looking over the pictures to try to understand what they were doing so that I could do the same thing with my parts. A sentence or 2 of written explanation would have been nice.

Comfortable, spacious and adorable!

What I love about this Ingenuity Keep Cozy Grow-with-Me Infant-to-Toddler Rocker is that it can not only grow with my child but it works out for both my infant and my toddler. The rocking seat looks very spacious comparing to other rocking seats I've owned past few years. It's super comfortable and plush for the infant. I honestly wish I owned this chair when my baby was born last year. But being 9 months, he's still really enjoying it even though he's quite tall for his age. He loves the vibration, it soothes him, and this rocking seat has two reclining positions and removable infant booster. Beware you must have batteries for the vibration but it's not a deal breaker. This seat is super lightweight and easy to move around the house with one hand. I love the design that is neutral gender based. The removable hanging toy is amazing as the child grows, I can take it out and put it away. I do think the toy that comes with it could be improved or have 2 more included to switch them out when the baby gets bored. Otherwise, super product and I would recommend it to all my parents friends and even gift it to my best friend who is expecting her 1st baby.

I received this seat today and was pretty excited, since this is exactly what I've been wanting for my 13mo old who has long been too big for his infant bouncy seat, but really needed something to lounge comfortably on. (He spent a lot of time in the hospital and has some physical delays as a result.)The assembly directions literally have no text, which is fine? It's a pretty simple assembly... except that a VERY important piece of the one I got is faulty. The backrest support tube is supposed to lock into the seat frame. It has pins on the inner area of the tube that pop into the holes in the frame.... But the mounting piece that is on the right side of the seat frame is identical to the one on the left, meaning the hole is on the outside instead of the inside. ... MoreI received this seat today and was pretty excited, since this is exactly what I've been wanting for my 13mo old who has long been too big for his infant bouncy seat, but really needed something to lounge comfortably on. But the mounting piece that is on the right side of the seat frame is identical to the one on the left, meaning the hole is on the outside instead of the inside. It is totally possible to insert the tubing into the frame and think it's fine, but it cannot lock on that side, meaning it could slide free and come out, which could be really dangerous for a baby. An unstable, unsafe piece of furniture for an infant is far from OK.Now, I realize mistakes happen, and I'm fortunate enough to know how to put furniture together and recognize this problem. (PLEASE check yours and make sure everything is correctly locked into place if you have this thing. PLEASE!) I contacted the manufacturer to ask for a replacement part straight off.I got a customer support person who sounded flat and bored to be talking to me, and at times slightly aggressive when I couldn't understand her because the line quality was bad. (It sounded like I was on speaker at first and my voice echoed back at me, but after a sentence or two it was just muffled.) She took all of my info and then told me that the product is too new and they don't have parts for it. She said she'd email me if they could do a product replacement or if I would just have to be mailed a refund check.I got the email and it said that there were no replacements and I could get a refund check mailed. In order to do that, I would have to cut the seat in half and write on it with a Sharpie, in big, bold letters, a virtual return code, then take a picture of it and email it back along with my receipt. This honestly shocked me. I was willing to send pictures of the parts that are wrong - I literally called just to get the one piece replaced - and they then this is required to get a refund check, which will take who knows long to begin with? Everything about this entire thing has left a VERY bad taste in my mouth."Hey, we sent you a faulty product that your baby could have been injured in if you didn't know better, but, you know what? We don't believe you won't use it, so we need you to prove it's been disabled in order to get your money back, and we'll just boredly apologize for the inconvenience!"That is what it sounds like to me.Walmart CS was excellent. They will take this one back and send a replacement. I'm a bit afraid of what I'll get, but I am hoping it is a functional seat.Be careful!

Flimsy, shaky
21 February 2023

The seat itself seems a lot more comfortable for my 1yo, 24lb, Vs the Fischer price baby-toddler rocker we have been using for him. His feet to dangle but also keeps his legs straightened where the other one did not. My only disappointment is the flimsiness of this chair as well as how shaky it is. Not very stable. Going to take the little mobile off but wanted to see how it worked because I will have a newborn that will also use this chair as well. The mobile can be ripped out by my 2 year old , and probably 1 year old easily. Everything was very easy to install though.

Most wonderful rocker/bouncer/lounger!

This is my new favorite baby/toddler item! (For reference: 5mo is 18lbs-27inches, 23mo is 30lbs-35inches) My 23 month old and 5 month old both love it. I was between this and the Fischer Price version and am so happy I chose this one. It doesn’t sit up super straight/high but it’s a decent enough height that my 5month old can see everything and everyone. This is a much deeper sit than the basic bouncer we had before so I’m not worried he’s going to flip out of it now that he’s bigger and more mobile. Was super easy and fast to put together and when assembled I noticed the 5 point harness opposed to the 3 point on most other brands. At first this disappointed me but I quickly realized that it just is another thing that will prevent him from rolling out. Lol. I love ... MoreThis is my new favorite baby/toddler item! I love the kick stand feature and that it’s in the back so it adds additional chair back tilt if engaged and stops the rocking. The bouncer bar is easy to engage/disengage and when engaged it gives a little extra recline if you have kickstand disengaged. The toy bar has two positions it it also can turn sideways making it even easier to get baby out and there’s 3 slots so you can add more toys or change positions of the one it comes with. The seat back has 2 positions and The head pillow also has 2 positions for it to go. There’s just so many options and each are wonderful!!!

Poorly made
9 February 2023

We had this chair (given to us as a Christmas gift) for about a month before we noticed one of the legs never sits right with the chair. It's always out of place no matter what we do. And after changing the vibration box's battery once, it rattles so loud that it upsets baby and she doesn't like to be in the chair anymore at all. Tried contacting the parent company about a replacement, but they've been slow to respond and have been running is in circles. Baby loved it for the first month but she is scared of it now because the vibration box is loud. She will sit in it without the vibration on, but she becomes fussy without it.

Similar to the fisher price rocker

Love this chair….very similar to the now discontinued fisher price rocker chair which I also loved. As a plus, this one is also a bouncer. My two month old loves it too! He’s not yet interested in the toy although it’s really bland. Rocking motion is manual which I like, no cords or batteries to deal with. Extremely lightweight to move from room to room. Assembly only took 5 min! You can also take off each cloth item(seat, insert, pillow) to wash. Better priced and more functional than the other ingenuity rocker I had (which I returned for this one). Highly recommend

well it works for a place to set baby while we eat. but its not the best. bought to replace our recalled rocker glider since we didn't use the glide much anyways i thought this would be a good replacement. not really. 1st it rocks loud but so did the fisher Price one. the cover is really really hard to get off because you have to unthread the straps every time even just for the soft insert to be washed. serious pain. we've never used the vibration because it's super loud. the toy is kinda lame, and its hard to add other toys luckily we had the birds from of recalled one that were able to attach and she loved playing with those. the toy bar however never stays on my baby would constantly pull it out at 3 and 4mo old so i moved it to the further hole, and my now 5 ... Morewell it works for a place to set baby while we eat. but its not the best. bought to replace our recalled rocker glider since we didn't use the glide much anyways i thought this would be a good replacement. not really. 1st it rocks loud but so did the fisher Price one. the cover is really really hard to get off because you have to unthread the straps every time even just for the soft insert to be washed. serious pain. we've never used the vibration because it's super loud. the toy is kinda lame, and its hard to add other toys luckily we had the birds from of recalled one that were able to attach and she loved playing with those. the toy bar however never stays on my baby would constantly pull it out at 3 and 4mo old so i moved it to the further hole, and my now 5 month old broke the bar off just pulling at it exposing a loose screw and some plastic shreads ( note i tried to fix and she broke it again this time screw stayed in tighter, might try some super glue?). luckily she can sit now in her other chairs upright, I don't think ill use it for the toddler stage. There were a few pros: despite the straps making it frustrating to wash i like that it held baby in more securely than just the waist strap most other bouncers have.
