As FTM we thought this chair would check off all of the boxes for us. We have been using daily for 4 months now and it’s alright. My biggest complaint is that the crotch strap can’t be removed unless you unscrew the bottom, food and moisture also gets trapped in there and creates a gross sticky substance. It’s just not practical to clean as a parent of a baby. We haven’t had the issue with the folding of the grey part that other comments have mentioned.

My father in law bought me this high chair for my first and only baby girl, I assembled it by myself (says alot) it was easy to do and the instructions was clear with pictures to follow along. I like this chair because it's a 1 stop shop. It grows with your child as your child enters multiple stages in life. It is very easy to clean on those messy sauce days. There is a plastic removable tray that is easy to clean.. It also reclines back for when your child is in its younger stage. 1 thing I absolutely love is it can become 2 high chairs, so when my daughters cousin came she had a safe place to eat. Would not recommend. My daughter just fell out of it face first because the tray is so finicky and doesn’t always lock properly. I had to take her to the ER for a concussion. I am so upset with this high chair. I would give it 1 star BUT there are some good things about it. It’s really easy to clean because of it not having fabric which I do like. The tray lock is absolutely terrible. I’m always having issues with it getting to patch properly, and this time I guess I didn’t triple check the latch and when my 8 month old leaned forward it came off and she fell face first onto our hardwood floor. If you don’t mind having to check the tray lock a million times then you will like this.

Absolutely love this high chair. Top registry gift for the past 2 years. Everything is still functional and we use it daily. We regularly pop off the top part and use it in the living room or our patio. Easy to just sit on the floor or strap to another seat. We love that two babies can use it at the same time. Strap the seat to another chair and pull the base up to the table. Easy for friends babies to come over for dinner. Baby #2 is on his way and we plan to really get some use out of this seat for years to come.
Very unhappy with customer service from Kids II. This product has a 1 year warranty but it’s near impossible to get any issue resolved. I have twins and need two working high chairs it is hard enough to juggle one baby in one high chair. I need to have a safely working highchair for two babies. One of the wheels broke on the highchair making it unsafe to use. I contacted customer service and they take weeks to respond back to an email. Finally when they responded they said they can’t send the broken part but have to replace the whole highchair which is great. However in order to do their return process you have to cut the highchair into pieces making it unusable and write virtual return on it in sharpie. Not sure why they say “smart clean” because it’s actually the very opposite. Has ridges on the side of arm rests and food gets jammed in between, impossible to clean. Food also falls between the silicone inserts so you have to take it all apart and vacuum it out. Can’t remove child without taking the whole tray off or they’ll cut their legs on the edge of the tray. No where to store the huge tray when it is off so most of the time it falls onto the floor. Tray is dishwasher safe but doesn’t fit in the dishwasher LOL Wheels scratched the daylights out of our flooring… very upsetting Takes up an enormous amount of space, I’ve stubbed my toe on the wheels probably 327 times. As first time parents, not knowing what to look for in a good high chair, we were fooled into thinking this would be a good option so we registered for it. Unfortunately it is not a good high chair. There’s too many cracks and crevices for food and moisture to get trapped in, and it actually grew mold in some cracks underneath that we couldn’t clean out. The tray is too big to put in the dishwasher, and that’s a silly option anyway, because I’m not running the dishwasher after every meal. We ended up just putting the grey removable surface away because that was just one more part to clean. If you’re doing baby led weaning stay away from this chair for sure, because the footrest is way too low for any baby’s feet to reach. Also the wheels do not work very well.
I placed this high chair on my registry after thinking long and hard of what features we thought were most important to us as first time parents. We both agreed that a smart clean was our number one priority as we didn't want to spend hours cleaning up the highchair and really just wanted to wipe it clean after every meal. This chair is terrible to clean. it has so many nicks and cracks that the food goes into that we need to practically pull the entire high chair apart to get a good clean. I 100% would avoid this chair if "smart clean" is one of your top qualities you are looking for in a high chair. I also find the chair to be not that sturdy. Will definitely be purchasing a new one and getting rid of this one
We got this as a gift and have only used the top seat strapped to the chair, due to space. We are on month 3 of BLW and I’m not sure what the complaints are about…ours hasn’t done any rolling and I love how easy it is to clean. I can’t speak to how easy it was to install because my dad did it for us, but it’s certainly easy to take off the chair and change the towel I have underneath it. I haven’t put the trays in the dishwasher, I just always wash with a washcloth throughout the day and then give it a good scrub down after my baby goes to sleep. I love that it’ll have a booster for when his cousin comes and visits us!
I like the high chair itself, the straps and customer service are what I dont like. The one strap was tripled thick instead of just folded over once. I could get it in the slot to assemble it but to get it out of the slot to clean it was impossible. I had to cut it to get it to come out, then when I tried to order a replacement harness they didnt answer my online inquiry, then I called them on hold for 15 mins and spoke with someone and then she emailed me a form to fill out to *possibly* get a new chair. I needed just a new harness and I told her all the informatoin I had on the phone.
