I didn’t actually get the one with the tray but this was the only option I could choose from. I wish mine had a tray because my biggest issue is that I don’t like the small space between the clamps. It doesn’t allow for my son’s plate mats to be placed in between without lifting up. It also would be nice to have a tray so my son’s hands don’t touch too many dirty tables when we go out to eat. But that part is fine. It’s very annoying to clean because you need to take the pieces all apart in order to get all of the nooks and crannies. But overall I love this chair and would still recommend. Comes in very handy at restaurants as long as the table doesn’t have intricate edges or lips on edges.... Show more

Such a great travel highchair! We used this SOOO much for about 8 months. Before Covid, we drove to many cities and slept in many hotels, and our son came with us. He began his solids in this chair. At home we use a Graco chair but this we sometimes used to have him sit at the island in our kitchen when he wanted to be REALLY close. The only thing I hated was if you had it connected to any surface for a few days, so much food gets under the clamping arms and you would need to take it off and clean the crevices of it as well. Also, something that irked me a little bit was even when I pushed the chair as close I could to the island, there was still a huge gap between the table and the chair. I attached a non-slip/rubber placemat that would catch the food from the gap. ... MoreSuch a great travel highchair! We used this SOOO much for about 8 months. Oh gosh how much do we love this chair! It is permanently stationed on my kitchen island. It has survived 2 kids and looking like new for baby #3. The fabric is removable and machine wash and drier safe. It comes out like new every single time I wash it. It is easy to hook on, easy to carry and travel with. It has a hidden bag for carrying. It works with all my 3 tables although I always keep it on my island. You can purchase the dining tray that goes over it and keeps the mess to one spot. My kids love sitting and watching me cook from the chair on the island. I was able to use this chair from 6 months to 3.5 years. I highly recommend this chair.... Show more

Answer to our needs
If I could, I would give this even a higher rating! We had something similar when our daughter was little (20+ years ago), then when she had her baby I started looking for something similar. This has worked great. We put it on the side of the table not the end, and it's like the little one is sitting up to the table with everyone else. If it is at a booth she can even stand on the bench seat. (There IS a buckle restraint also) (Of course if that's not preferable just don't put it over a chair.) No more worries that the high chair hasn't been disinfected or even cleaned since the last child used it. No more worries that your child will hit her head on the table leaning to reach the table. Again, if it's on the side of the table it's not out where it could be in the ... MoreIf I could, I would give this even a higher rating! Again, if it's on the side of the table it's not out where it could be in the way of servers or passersby. I had bought another brand first but had to return it due to the back preventing the little one from movement. This one is "just right", giving support without restrictions. We have had many people stop and ask where we got it and even had a few take a picture for reference to order one. My only wish is that the carry bag that it folds up in would have a shoulder strap instead of just a drawstring so someone could carry it over their shoulder. I may try making something for that purpose. Also we got the tray to go with it which keeps the food off the table and keeps it corralled. FANTASTIC product!... Show more

Convenient, space saver.
We bought the chair due to the lack of space for a stand alone high chair. We don't have much room in our dining room for a large high chair, and we wanted something where my son could sit at the table with us and eat with us. I gave it 4 stars because I do like the chair and we definitely got good use out of it, but there are a few things I dislike. 1. It's a little tedious tightening the chair to the table. It takes awhile to screw it on if the table has an apron. 2. The only practical way I have found to clean this seat, is to put it in the shower with a little laundry detergent on a cloth and hand clean it. The fabric does not come off the frame and if your baby is just starting to feed themselves, the seat can get very messy. My son is now 14 months and ... My son is now 14 months and although he has not outgrown it yet, he uses a booster seat now at the dining table because I just got tired of cleaning the inglesnia. There are a few nooks and crannies that make it difficult to fully clean. The inglesnia was great for him between 6-12 months though. We eat out occasionally and I thought I would use it more often in restaurants, but it was easier and quicker for us to use a restaurant high chair while we were out. Overall- it's a great seat if you are lacking the space for a more traditional stand alone high chair.... Show more

Easiest stroller I have ever used.
Holy easy to use, once you figure it out you'll wonder how you did without such a simple to use stroller for your little one.Opening:It took a little time to figure out how to unlock the stroller to get it to expand and pop open. Come to find that on the right hand side, next to the top of the seat back there is a little release lever on the right hand frame section. Pull up on the tab that sticks up off of it and the whole thing just pops open, then lightly push on the center foot lever and it will lock in the open position fully. Now toss your kid in the seat, strap him in and good to go.Closing:Once you are done needing the stroller, pull the kid out first, it's the little details..., then pull out whatever you stuffed in the bottom section of the stroller ... Once you have the majority of whatever out of the stroller, just grab the handle on the back middle section hit the button and lift. The whole thing just collapses and you can toss it into the vehicle. Crazy simple to do.It does have a simple to use backrest adjuster as well, just pull up the top lever on the back of the seat and you can lock it into a couple of positions to let the child lay down or be upright. You'll need the seat upright in order to close up the stroller and stow it in the car.The front wheels come locked, just pull the grey lever up until it clicks and the front wheels are unlocked.the rear wheels on both sides lock when you push the break lever down on the one side. The cable that goes between the 2 is a brake line that activates the brakes on both sides.Overall, this is a high end stroller IMO, It really makes getting the kid around so much easier and quicker. My suggestion for putting things in the bottom area carrier is to make sure that whatever goes in there is in a bag so that when you are back at your vehicle you can take the bag out and not have to worry about the stroller being able to close up.... Good quality, questionable design
I was excited to get this baby chair, but beware that it will not work on every table. Pros: The quality is good and sturdy and feels secure on the appropriate type table. Cons: If a table has a drop down inset from the table edge, this will NOT work. Both of my tables have that design and so the seat could not securely attach. I was so disappointed, and I gave it to my daughter for traveling or restaurant use when safely possible. The other issue I had (albeit minor) was it was difficult to tighten and loosen. The space to get your hand in is rather limited and it was difficult for me even with relatively small hands.... Show more

The best baby item I own
We are purchasing our 4th Inglesina chair today! We've had 1 ourselves, that we've had for 5 years, and has lasted us through 2 boys. Our almost 3-year old is still small enough to use it!The other 3 have been purchased as gifts for others. We discovered this chair when our first son was a baby and we were eating at Houston's. Instead of high chairs, they have these Inglesina chairs, which is genius, because until I had kids, never had I encountered a more vile place to set a baby than in a public high chair at a restaurant, which is hands down even grosser than any public changing table I've ever had to use. We immediately googled the chair when we were at Houston's that day, and ordered one from Amazon.Out of every single baby item I've used (and trust me, with 2 boys, I've seen it all), this is the most handy item we've ever owned. And I'm dead serious when I say that every time we use it in a public place, multiple people comment on how cool it is. I even thought of printing up cards with my Amazon Associates link to this chair and handing them out to the randos that ask where we got it. I'd have made a fortune by now! We pack this for all trips, too. Took it to Boston in September, San Diego in June, and Hawaii a couple of years ago. It easily fits into a suitcase along with all your other stuffThe only tables where this chair will not work are tables that are too top heavy on a single side. We try to stick to using this with tables that are bolted to the wall (like booths), or heavier tables that have sturdy bases. The best thing about this chair is that it comes apart and can go into the washing machine just fine (we lay ours out flat to dry). We pretty much keep ours in the car, as we eat out 5+ times per week, and it is always ready to go. The only complaint? My 5-year old version didn't come with a carrying cover. But they do now, so... Well designed, space saving chair to let little ones actuall
This was delivered yesterday, and I'm so in love with this chair already that I felt compelled to come review it before I forget! I have been eyeing this on Amazon for many months, wanting to use it for travel and couldn't really justify replacing our every day high chairs since there isn't anything wrong with them (Cosco slim fold high chairs). I love the Cosco chairs because they fold in half and make it easier to put away when not in use, a must now that my kids can climb up into it on their own, but I still felt like it was taking up too much space when open, and the baby couldn't really sit with us properly because even in his chair, he seemed far away from us around the kitchen island or at the dining table.I finally splurged on this chair since I saw one ... It took me less than 5 minutes to get it from the box to being set up on my island. I actually don't know if it's going to work with my dining room table, since it's thicker than "normal" due to it have extension leaves, but I don't fault the chair for that, so I'm still giving it 5 stars so far.I don't plan to take this out and about with me, but I love that it's easy to travel with and will take up less space than a Cosco chair would, so could see us taking this along to family events where there might not be a chair for my son to eat in.I love the look and design of this chair. Only con so far, is that it's usual price on Amazon seems to be around $59, and I picked up my last Cosco chair on Amazon for about $34 which is almost half the price. I think the expense is worth it though and I definitely recommend this and will update my review after further usage.... Show more

Wonderful wish fabric came off easier for cleaning
So much better than the high chair with legs we were previously using. We live in a small house and have three kids so it's nice to save space however we can. Maneuvering around high chair legs for vacumming or just getting around the table was getting annoying. I wanted to buy this months ago but we didn't because we tried to make our regular high chair work since we already bought it. After my daughter's fingers got pinched while pulling the chair in close to the table my husband finally agreed we should get this instead. So happy we did. It looks so much better and no threat of pinching her fingers. Also, it is great that it's portable. We can take this with us wherever we go and it can be used on most tables. The review that said the clamps were too small to use on all 4 tables they tried mystifies me. It opens up to 3.5" according to the instructions. We have a thick wood table ourselves and have no issues at all attaching it.My big complaint is cleaning. You can clean the fabric with a damp sponge and it looks ok but it would be so much better if the fabric could be removed without taking the while chair apart. Maybe if it could just unzip from the frame. Then I would give this five stars. Nonetheless, I am happy I bought it and it's a huge improvement over the more conventional chair we were using before.... Show more
