After suffering from hammertoe for years I was happy to try one order of toe sock liner xl. I was happy with them and ordered 2 additional pair and the new 2 pair are larger than the first. (Photo) the new size is a little too large. The first size is preferable. The only difference in the paperwork is the location #. I wear a slightly large when I can find them 13 shoe. I would like addition 1st size shipped. Please comment. John Doepke 619 6601477 Thanks

I use these for my winter runs, especially when then temps dip below 40F. I put these as my base layer and my normal wicking running socks as a second layer. This ensures my feed don't get cold and that I don't get a frostbite. I have run in these socks with temps in teens without any issues. The one thing to keep in mind though is that you don't want to wash them too often. Because these are made of Merino wool, there is no odor and you can literally use them everyday and not wash them for a month. Washing them does reduce the effectiveness of these socks. This is probably one of my favorite running items.

If you are prone to blisters around the toes, these socks maybe the answer for you. You can get Injinji as normal socks not to be worn with anything else or liner socks to wear under your regular socks, e.g. hiking socks. Typically I am taking these with me, but not using them often on long hike. But at the first sign of getting raw around the toes, I put these on. Since doing this, have never had a problem. Weight wise, they are light and they do not take up much space. Well worth having in your backpack for long hikes.I have also tried the normal socks for trail running, again 5 star. There is a local race I did a few times that starts off running through a creek and the whole run is done with wet feet. Again, Injinji to the rescue :-)

I bought these socks to wear on a Rim To Rim hike at the Grand Canyon. After hearing multiple recommendations, I decided to take the plunge and give toe socks a try! Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. I actually used them as a base with light wool socks as a second layer. At the end of the day, I had zero blisters. They were very comfortable. There was a little bit of extra length in the toe area, but it didn’t bother me. These socks are great for hot weather and long distance hiking. For reference, I wear a size 8.5-9 size shoe and I bought a size Small.
I bought these because I was getting blisters between my toes while hiking. I bought a new pair of boots around the same time (that also helped the blisters), but I needed something I could wear while the blisters healed. These did the trick. They are comfortable, and light/thin enough to wear under thicker socks. I wore them during early spring hiking when there was still a little snow/ice on the ground, so I was always doubled up. They really helped my blister issue. Now, I wear them while I rollerblade just for the comfort. I still wear another light/thin sock over them because these feel a little too thin to wear by themselves in normal shoes. I think they're more meant for wearing with those Vibram toe shoes if you were to wear them without another pair of socks.
Thin, yes, but still enough to wear alone; no second sock necessary!I really appreciated these since my feet swell/expand as I transition to zero drop. There is more material around the toes which may necessitate a wider toe box. If you are already just fitting in your shoe, these may cause tightness at the toes.1. Prevent friction blisters2. Allow toes to communicate with the rest of you regarding the terrain3. Helps with moisture management4. Could result in lack of freedom of movement if your toe box is already just fittingBut for me, in Topo Pursuits, I love them!
I'm a women's size 7.5 wide. I got the small, which is my usual size in Injinji. I found these wool liners to run slightly small, as the socks were very snug around my feet. It was also thinner than I expected, even though I know it's a liner. I'm returning these because I'm most worried about a thin patch where the threads come together. One little snag and I'm pretty sure these socks would be done for. I ordered three pairs and at least two of them had the same thin patch. I ended up buying toe socks from Etsy instead. I do appreciate REI's buy 3 get 10% off promo on socks.
I really wanted to like these. The reviews are pretty compelling, and I am not disagreeing with any comments that have been made.I think my feet are pretty typical; nothing special. I did my own experiment, wearing one Injinji on one foot and a typical line on the other. I did 4 multi-day backpacking trips, putting in 8 to 15 miles per day. There was no difference in the way my feet felt at the end of the day or the end of my trips. Here are the things I didn't like.First, you have to pull them over each individual toe. I am not a limber guy and it was so much easier to pull on my old liners sitting on my sleeping pad in my little tent vs leaning over and pulling the Ininjis over each individual toe.Second, they are left-right specific. If you are one of those people (like me) who loses an occasional sock, you may end up with a pair that only works if you have two left feet.Third, they are more expensive than the regular liners.Fourth, they didn't make my feet feel any better at the end of the day.
These are high quality socks. I was a little worried about the toe sock part, but not really bothered by it. However, I did get a sizeable blister on my left heel on a recent thru hike. I was experiencing heel lift, and the only change was these socks. Not sure if my foot has changed shape, or if these socks contributed. I normally wear polypropylene liner socks, but decided to try these on recommendation of others. First time I have had blisters in many years.
I love how these socks feel, but they just don't last. I've had bad luck in using them as liners when it comes to durability, and they won't even make it through a weekend backpacking trip as standalone socks. Sadly these are the only toes socks I've found thus far that don't irritate me between the toes on downhills. A positive that I rarely see mentioned that applies to toe socks in general is that they make walking with soaked feet far less gross feeling, and of course there are many other benefits to toes socks as well that apply to these. If they could figure out a way to make a durable, pliable and thin toe sock I'd be on board, but my wallet cannot abide these.
