Nothing but good things to say about my experience with LensRentals. The gear arrived on time and in great shape. Everything was boxed well, all cables were wrapped, and each item worked exactly as expected. The support department *quickly* replied to a few questions I had.This Insta360 Titan is a beast! Do your research and go through all tutorials before you rent this. There is plenty to learn before your get your hands on it. It's an 11k camera, but if you want to shoot 10-bit you have to drop to 8k. I went with 10-bit because I knew I needed the dynamic range, and it turned out great.

I own 2 cameras, in the beginning, I loved this camera Insta360 was upgrading all very fast, now since December 2021, I have been trying and asking them to upgrade their software and seems like there is no response, not for this $15,000 + camera, this is something that bothers me, I have an M1 Max 64Gb and the software is not working on a mac, I have to use parallels and a Windows account just to download the footage, also on the farsight, it doesn't work well with apple devices, iPad and iPhone, I just find out that with Android it works better, I am about to make tests on it now August 2022, and I did not know that until a friend told me, there is no way to know that!, so this is why I don't like a lot the camera the company Insta360 stopped helping the users.
While 360 cameras still lag behind 2D cameras, the Titan is a fairly professional unit that is good for certain shoots. The compression is workable and i-log holds up pretty well with a grade. Things that bug me are the fan noise, the camera pretty much needs to run it the whole time to keep the camera cool, so not so good for sync sound projects. Also the way Insta360 names the files on the card doesn’t make sense, the files themselves don’t have unique names they are just in folders that have unique names. That makes it more annoying in post when we need to organize the footage for stitching. But I’d put this camera up in the range of the ZCam V1 pro for quality of image, plus it’s cheaper to rent so worked on this shoot for us but maybe not right for all projects.
