Bought this product and its brilliant! Put the filter in the freezer, loaded it up with chilled water from the fridge and it works amazingly. Kept me nice and cool, def recommend you have chilled water ready for it for best results. 10/10 would def recommend

Very disappointed. I would have been happy if the fan with cool air just hit my face, let alone the surrounding area. Air was not even cool. Waste of my money.

Worse than a normal desktop fan for blowing/cooling, and more expensive. It humidifies alright. Only time it is worth using is when you load it up with ice (and in hot weather that only makes it cold for 15 mins tops)
I bought this knowing full well its claims of cooling a room would be false with intent to use it solely to cool my son directly from his bedside table (not more than 30cm away). Alas it could not achieve even this and failed to work in every sense of the word. I.e., it did not perform as advertised and then, ceased to function after its second use.Look, the thing is well intentioned with somewhat sound logic: warm air in, passed through some icy water and a frozen filter to produce blasts of cold air out the other side. It used to work when I’d put a wet flannel on a pedestal fan, right? However, this fan is just too small to have any sort of impact. You know what they say about “good intentions” though?! And the noise! The thing sounds like it’s going to take ... MoreI bought this knowing full well its claims of cooling a room would be false with intent to use it solely to cool my son directly from his bedside table (not more than 30cm away). And the noise! The thing sounds like it’s going to take off, even on the lowest setting, which mind you has cooling power akin to someone breathing on you. I’ve seen it said before, but honestly a box fan from Coles is literally a better option for basically every application, even as a desk/personal fan. Cheaper, quieter and cooler. So, in summary, whilst it’s a novel idea, in practice the cooling power is well overstated. It is neither Insta, chill, nor quiet as it claims to be. It does profess to cooling` a “7 foot area”, but I’d give it 7 toes at most.
