Love these for my electric pressure cooker/steamer, aka Best Buy's Insignia Multi-cooker. Fits real nice and having 2 different sizes is a wonderful option when cooking. A must have for anyone using similar type kitchen cookers.

We have now used the mesh steamer basket to steam broccoli and green beans in our Insta Pot. Added water, put the vegies in the basket, and about 15 minutes later they were steamed. Weve never had a good way to steam vegetables before, so we are glad to have these baskets. And we really like the handle, because we can get the basket out of the Insta Pot without using any utinsels. And it cleaned up very easily. Great product! This fits our instapot and our air fryer. It does work well for steaming in the instapot, but for the air fryer it is great. We make pizzas a lot at home, and they have a lot more vegetables than any store bought pizza. We dice the vegetables and soften them up in the air fryer - and small pieces get into the bottom of the air fryer that are a pain to clean out. This item keeps those small pieces out of the bottom of the air fryer.

I have 2 instant pots and I never would have thought that I would like a steamer basket for my every day use because I have bought enough gadgets for my cooking needs as well as being able to multitask with my other things that I have found to be super useful because I have a regular sized colander but not a smaller version. This is a good thing to have because it does fit in my 6 quart Instant Pot so well. It is such a sturdy item and it keeps the food away from getting soaked in the cooking water. I never thought I would ever be writing a review for a steamer but I have to say that it is so versatile it was able to get rid of my bulky stovetop steamer because it took up so much room on my refrigerator top because I use it for storing my items now. Since these got here later this afternoon I haven't had a chance to use them. Like anything I take my time looking for additions to my Instant Pot. I got tired of the old fashion steamer that you put into a pot wondering if the hot taters were going to stay in the flimsy basket as you were taking it out. Both of the new baskets are beautiful stainless steel. Very well constructed and has a handle when you take it out of the Instant Pot. I can even cook more potatoes using the larger basket. The small one I will use to cook some good ole vegies or even eggs for a good ole egg salad. So many neat things you can do with all of these beautiful toys.

I am new to Instant Pot, so I don't have a lot of recipes to work from... yet! All my friends hae told me to try hard boiling eggs. Well, I was given this Small Mesh Steamer Basket for an honest review. Perfect opportunity to try the eggs. So here is my review: I LOVE THIS BASKET! I have a 6 quart IP nd the basket is a perfect fit. 7 eggs fit perfectly inside the basket, and I didn't have to worry about any rolling off, before or after steaming. It took 5 minutes of pressure, 5 minutes NR, then I lifted the basket out by the convenient handle and moved to a cold water bath. After cooling, the egg shells slid right off and I was left with perfect hard boiled eggs! The mesh basket is so convenient for hard boiled eggs, potatoes for potato salad and sweet potatoes for a sweet potato casserole. I definitely haven't been using my instant to its full potential and this basket has made it convenient for so many different foods/meals. I love the handle on the basket because it is easy to pull the basket out especially when you are cooking hard boiled eggs. Convenient and don't have to worry about pouring the ingredients in to a separate colander. The handle and mesh basket make it very easy to cook and not have to dirty up a lot of extra items. I would highly recommend this basket and love that it is stackable.
These are great for steaming vegetables in an Instant Pot. They stack nicely for storage. I really appreciate that there is a handle on both of these steamer baskets. That makes taking them out of the Instant Pot safe and easy. If you use them together in the Instant Pot there is not a lot of room under the smaller basket to cook more than a serving or two of anything else.

Sort of crab boil style I suppose is the best way to describe it. After receiving this basket, we thought Wow. We simply fill the basket with what foods we want to steam. We mixed up some corn on cob halves, along with several items and some shrimp. What I did was draw just enough water to the top of the basket legs, and not in the basket. I then set the proper setting on my pot, closed and locked the lid, turned the pot on, and wallah. Great steamed foods. The food is perfectly steamed. It holds all that she cooks as well. I like the bail for lifting as well. Easy to lift out. You can buy hooks for lifting, but I have a homemade one that I built for lifting other cooking bails and it works very well for this basket. I really like too, that it will not rust, it being stainless steal frame and mesh. It feels sturdy so I don't think it will bend or dent easily from a drop or something. All in all, this is a really nice steaming and draining basket. I highly recommend.
