I bought this unit for the clear view inside, the large capacity, and the drum spinner/rotisserie combo. It comes with a bottom drip pan and 2 slotted trays which gives a ton of space for cooking.I am able to cook 10 chicken thighs at once and get super crispy skins on all of them if I rotate trays halfway through cooking. Cooked from raw to done in less than 20 minutes on air fry at 375.Using the drum for frozen fries means almost no dark/hard spots. They are crispy outside, creamy inside and just like I like my crinkles.Air fryer is 100 % the best and ONLY way you should be reheating all of your foods especially breads. This unit easily beat all my expectations.

I busted this out of the box so fast and couldnāt wait to use it. The first use, there was a toxic smell that overtook our entire house. It was literally making us gag and choke. The second use, it did it again. By the 5th time we used it, it stopped. But Iām certain we likely ingested burnt plastic by that point. One of the disappointing features is that I canāt ātoastā like a toaster oven. My daughter makes cinnamon toast often and this oven blows all of the cinnamon sugar around in circles. It makes the biggest mess I have ever seen. I wish it had an option to simply toast and turn the circulation off. I donāt know that I would recommend this to people. It works and Iāll deal with it but I am pretty disappointed.

It is very loud! My toddler does not like the noise and it drowns put everything in the house when it runs. The baking trays within the first couple of months began to fall from the racks, I can still use them but thereās a good chance if I touch it wrong the entire rack just falls into the bottom. The rotisserie attachment seems complex and you would only be able to fit a tiny bird. Never even took it out of the package. It does clean well and the door is removable. After a year it still works and looks brand new still. You have to be really careful on settings keep a note in your phone or on fridge with times/temps you found that worked for certain food. I would give it four stars but for what I paid I should have baking sheets that stay in and fit.

Cute design and overall cooks ok. It didnāt come with specific instructions for this dual type machine and the extra features. So I have to reference other recipes online and adjust for this one. Sometimes that means burnt or undercooked food. Iāve wasted a lot of food. Also, when cooking food on both trays, the lower tray cooks way slower. If I put the same food on both trays, the food in the upper tray can burn while the food in the lower tray barely cooks. Also, the buttons are hard to press sometimes. Actually, that is an increasing problem. I donāt mind cleaning it after ease use, but if I donāt the previous meals can still be hinted at in the current meal.

That was a waste of time, as their response was that the item is out of warranty, but they would offer me a 25%off promo code. Ok, sure, so I go shopping on their website. EVERYTHING is on sale! Yay! Until I select the air fryer I want and attempt to make my purchase and enter my discount code. Apparently the sale involved a promo and a second code couldn't be entered, although I could find no way to delete the sale promoš¤. So again, I contacted customer service stating I feel like an expensive air fryer less than 3 years old being a faulty appliance should at least merit me being able to use both discounts. I was denied and told I can only use one discount at a time. I have a cheap basket model air fryer I got many years ago that I put in my camper when I "UpGrAdEd" to my instant vortex plus. It still works great. I informed them I'll be purchasing a different brand, and I was thanked for my feedback. I heard Ninjas are nice. I guess I'll check reviews on THEIR customer service.

I have making some meats, and reheating some food and all turned out really good as well. Pizza got crispy bottom and foods were fully reheated, unlike with the microwave. I also tried the dehydrator function and as it did work pretty well but it is something that I need to play with a bit more and get the science down of that method. The one thing that bugs me about this machine is the touch screen buttons are a bit finicky sometimes and need multiple attempts to push to change. Enjoyed the air fryer while it lasted. The plastic smell others mentioned takes a long time to go away but doesn't seem to affect the taste of the food.Now for the bad part - we used it for about 2 months and it stopped working altogether in the middle of making wings. No longer gets power to the control panel - just fried. It failed outside the Best Buy return window so trying to get warranty support with no luck so far. Will keep trying.Based on my experience so far, I would avoid this and other Instant Pot branded products. They seem to be pretty shoddy in terms of quality control and then aren't responsive when it comes to honoring the stated warranty.

I feel like the marketing behind 'Air Fryer' is not based in reality and should be investigated for being misleading.
