Intel Core I7 10700KF CPU Processor

I have this paired with an RTX 3090 currently and had an RTX 3070 before that.Don't make the rookie mistake I made and make sure that you purchase a Z490 or Z590 board with this CPU so that you can make use of the unlocked clock features of the CPU lol.Otherwise, this is a monster for gaming. Everything loads quick, I get a pretty locked 144fps in most games at 1440p with the 3090 no bottle necking at all.Make sure you get a good cooler with it.

One of the best gaming CPUs out there currently, and very competitive at workloads too. Better at overclocking than the 10700k due to not having on-board graphics. Got mine to 5.3GHz all cores easily. Runs a little hot (86°) under full load at those speeds even on water. But damn, good CPU that pushes some mad performance. Would recommend if you have the money. Otherwise just get a 10600k for similar gaming performance.

I build my own systems, and have now for about 20 years. If you haven't yet, and are about to, welcome aboard what will be a very satisfying hobby/job. The last two were Intel builds, my previous being an i7 4790. Yeah, seven years ago. I had some money, and a wife who agreed the upgrade was necessary, and off we went. So good to meet the UPS man at the door, or in the front yard for several days in a row. Neighbors were jealous. It was just as much as a blink of yer eye's worth of effort to install this CPU. It really felt weighty and substantial in the figglers. The build went off without a hitch, and she's running now. Before, the Bluestacks launch would take about 30 seconds to load. Now???? I was on a Intel 4th gen 4970. and it was good for it's time. but I can see it getting really old and slowing down on tasks it used to do so easily. so I knew it was time to upgrade. so I save up a lot and waited by the door patiently listening for the doorbell. I suppose you all can understand how I feel I was so anxious to get started and building my PC. or should I say upgrading my PC I had to buy a new motherboard for the processor obviously new processor. 32gb ddr4-ram 3200mhz. I hope this is useful for you make sure if you're upgrading to this processor you get a 80 pin power supply. I picked the 10700kf for 264$ and what a great performer for the price. I switched from a ryzen 5 3600 because of stability issues. With AMD I have always had weird unexplained things happen with my computers. As expected, with the intel I have had no issues and this thing smokes my ryzen 5 system. Yeah...it consumes more power...but I really don't care.

New computer build. Full Tower case. This Motherboard and Processor was just right for what I wanted to build. Gaming Board with I7 400 series 1200 pin socket. You just can't bogg it down, with multi-tasking. I don't Game, but I did put a decent 2 port video card in it. As this CPU does NOT have the Intel HD graphics. I7 / 490 MB all that was needed to be Win 11 ready was turn on the Intel PPL in the bios. Only disappointment with he whole build was there was only "1" USB 3 header. I generally put a 7 USB bank on the front panel and a 7 bank of USB on the back (PCI16 card). Used 650 Watt PS

Picked it up for $238 new! Upgraded from i3-10100 to this and man has my processing power and gaming really increased. Im now seeing more GPU bottlenecks for my frame rate instead of a CPU bottleneck. Definitely worth the money and should honestly be the standard for anyone who is gaming or doing anything other than just basic school work.

Replacing a legend is always bittersweet, but, the Prime day 2021 deal on i7-10700KF was enough to push me onward. Getting a decade of solid performance from i5-2500K @ 4.2GHz is amazingly cost effective. I've always had zero issues with any Intel cpu I've used (and also the AMD one's I've used in the past). The 10700KF fired right up with one of those ginormous Noctua sinks. Great thermals and performance. Not overclocking and not sure I need to. But may tinker a bit down the road. Nice to have that option if necessary. Looking to get another decade down the road ....

This thing is a beast, runs any game or program or both at the same time. It does run a little hot but with a decent AIO or Air Cooler, it should be fine. I'm not sure if it's better than the 5600x for gaming but I do a LOT more with my PC as a Youtube content creator, programmer, and avid CAD program user. I can say this thing eats everything I throw at it. The main difference for me was the price. I at the time of my purchase the 10700KF was $260, the 5600x was $399, Kind of a no-brainer. Can't say enough about this CPU. 10/10.
