Wow! Super easy-to-follow instructions to inflate the mattress. You just take the cord out of its compartment, plug it in, press the On button, turn the dial clockwise and it starts to inflate. Presto, couldn't have been more than 3 minutes to inflate it. You can stop the inflation at any point. The mattress is sturdy and well made and it doesn't reek of a plastic smell. As for the size, I think the measurements provided in the description are not accurate though. I purchased the twin/single size and it is the size of a real twin/single mattress, but higher. We are very pleased with this item!

All of the negative reviews had me concerned about purchasing this air mattress. I really wanted a twin-size extra high air mattress for a 3 week Airbnb stay that I have coming up. I was most worried about the complaints that it tips over when you roll over. The mattress does feel that it will tip over when there is no supportive wall or whatnot next to it. I played around with the mattress and found that if I lean a side against a sofa or wall, it prevents that tipping sensation and I can move around with ease. I am 5'2" tall and the mattress is the perfect height for me. If you are much taller, then I don't think it will work for you, my feet are right on the edge of the bed. I weigh 200 lbs and feel comfortably supported by it. The built-in pump is conveniently ... MoreAll of the negative reviews had me concerned about purchasing this air mattress. 2nd one in 4 months, these were used on weekends. We're living between to houses, on weekends we've been painting and fixing up one place, our furniture is at the other so first we bought a queen Intex from Walmart, it was very comfortable at first but started losing air over night after a couple of months. We couldn't find any leaks, but it was enough of a leak that we were waking up sore and sinking. Then the pump stopped working and then started working again, repeat. So we bought this one. We loved the size of the king and the height but it was uncomfortable from the get go, different pattern on the top from the queen, and that may have had something to do with it. After 3 months it just split along a seam on the top of the bed, it was a split and the patch just didn't work on it. So we went back to the queen which also split on the top along the seams, not holes but splits along the stitching. Patching these types of tears doesn't work. They weren't over filled, they had a mattress topper and extra blankets to sleep on top of (air mattresses tend to get cold) and ( i apologize for too much info) we sleep nude, so nothing to puncture or slice it with especially with the layers on top and we only used it for sleeping, no sexy fun time on it, no sitting on the edges, just sleeping. So to me it seems like a defect in the innards and stitching, because both tears have been along the stitching. Two mattresses same tear. So after two We're moving on to another company, because both happened after the return window. It's not worth the price or the hassle that Intex brings.

The airbed great. Easy to inflate- just plug it in and within a few minutes you have a firm raised bed providing real comfort. As will all such airbeds you will need to place an underblanket on it to provide warmth for a really good night's sleep. A nice touch is that it comes with a strong bag in which you can store it. Being higher off the floor than most other airbeds means that it is far easier to get out of for nightime trips to the bathroom
I have used/owned this brand several times over the years. In fact, i currently have three of their air mattresses in varying sizes. The difference with this one is that it has a raised "pillow" section! this is a GREAT feature. you could use it alone or use it to give an actual pillow a little boost! once inflated it is comfortable and sturdy, but very comfortable! it holds up to 600lbs. i appreciate the attached air pump. the mattress inflates quickly and retains the air very well. i will continue to use this brand and i would recommend it to anyone that asks!
Easy setup. Integrated pump inflated the mattress in less than 4 minutes. Two options to Inflate/deflate. No need to roll on the mattress to let out the trapped air. Like that I can focus on other things while it's inflating but will need to stay close. Other air mattresses come with a carrying bag with no strap but this one comes with a carrying bag that has a shoulder strap! Mattress is surprisingly comfortable. The pillow feature is a nice concept but I require more support. Love the height! The farther away from the ground/floor the better. Will be using this as a guest sleeping option!
Thoroughly impressed with this air mattress. I slept on it two weeks straight when visiting family. Given I have back issues, I was truly expecting to have a flare up after three days as I haven't been able to sleep on an air mattress any longer than three days for the last four years. The height is perfect for getting in and out of. I easily would add air (for firmness) as needed given the built in plug in air pump. I only had to do this three times in two weeks. I highly recommend this air mattress. I can't comment on take down as it's still up; this is my last night on it so I'll find out tomorrow.
This air bed only takes a few minutes to inflate and it's easy when you just plug it into the wall and hit a switch! No more manual pumps which is so time consuming. This is a huge bonus. It does deflate a small amount overnight but that's not a big issue. Another thing to consider is that it can get cold sleeping on it. I think that's because of the height of the bed and the air in between - but this is easily remedied by putting a duvet and/or some blankets between the bed and whoever is using it.
This is by far the best air mattress I've ever owned. It is extremely comfortable. You don't sink into the mattress. This air mattress is a dura-beam deluxe high rise pillow top. It sits nice and high making it easy to get in and out of. This mattress comes with a super easy internal pump. The cord is placed in an area next to the pump which is very convenient. You simply turn the pump on and turn to one side for inflation and the other to deflate. Took about 4 minutes to fully inflate. This mattress doesn't lose air like most do by the time morning rolls around. It holds in the air very well. It comes with a carrying bag for traveling or storing.
This bed (Queen size; Dura-Beam Deluxe from Intex) is very well made and thought-out in design. The dura-beam channels make all the difference from other camp style air beds. I found that there is no sagging along the edges or major change in compression depending on where someone is laying, which makes it perfect for two adults to sleep comfortably. The included internal quick-fill pump is very practical and straight forward to use. We were amazed at how quickly it filled up. The only issue I can see would be if you don't have access to an electrical outlet. The carrying bag is great. Since the bag is oversized, it is hassle free to get the folded mattress back into it.
