Had the pool a matter of hours before I set it up and filled it up a couple of inches of water. I left it overnight and in the morning there was a massive amount of water all around the pool. I bought this as a holding tank for koi while I cleaned out their pond. I had it mostly together when I realized I was missing 1 corner pole. As the pond was partially drained I rigged a piece if pvc in place of the metal pole and it held for the 3 days I needed the pool. My grief began when I contacted company to have the missing piece replaced. After some run around with company’s agents I did a live chat and was told the model number was printed on outside of pool which had by this time been cleaned and repacked in its box. I have never been so disappointed in a company before. I bought this pool and we put it together and within 10 days we noticed a small tear on the bottom of the pool (absolutely nothing underneath it that could have poked a hole in it. I purchased two of these pools to use as a temporary holding pool for our koi whilst we cleaned out our pond and found them to be excellent value for money. We will use them next summer for their intended purpose of swimming if we have another heat wave. They are easy to assemble in under 30 minutes, helped by a well laid out instruction manual. They do say it takes two people, but a practical person could do it alone if it is not breezy. I would recommend leaving the liner indoors until you are ready to unfold it to keep it supple for as long as possible. All the parts appear to be high quality; I only had ours up for a couple of days so cannot vouch for their longevity. As others have noted, the drain valve is a few inches up the side which makes draining it completely difficult, but with a pool this size (deep) you are unlikely to be able to put your hand underneath to open the valve if it were on the bottom. I used a pond pump to empty it in 10-15 minutes down the to the last couple of litres which we sponged out. Allow about four hours to fill using normal UK mains (15 litre per minute flow).
I lounge in my “baby pool” every day! This is the perfect size for a couple of adults to float and enjoy the back patio in the summer. This is my 2nd year to use the same pool! I set it up on smooth cement under my patio cover. It’s a little uneven but the pool is okay. I added a chlorine basket and bought a pool net for cleaning. It doesn’t come with a pump or filter but I only use it during June and July so I just chlorinate and net the big things out. Now I just need to landscape the yard!
The vinyl pool material has fused/melted/glued itself to the metal pool frame, therefore the pool cannot be taken apart for winter storage. It seems like the ink from the printed pattern on the vinyl is what glued the two together, and the poles won't pull out of their pockets. The printed pattern also faded near the filter inlets and outlets due to chlorine, but I maintain my chlorine levels appropriately according to test strips. The pool is going to be filthy and ruined if it sits outside all winter, additionally I don't want to have an empty flat pool laying in my yard all winter. My previous pool lasted 5+ years because we stored it away every year. Very disappointed and clearly and manufacturer defect

Altho the construction is recommended for 2 people, the frame can be put together by one person, no worries. Important also to invest in a chemical kit for chlorine, PH, etc. etc., a good filter - the Intex one is fine - you need an extra 2m for the hoses to stretch out and an outside electricity supply - and a pool net skimmer to collect insects and leaves. I have used the same water for the month the unit has been in use and our water is sparkling clear. A cover is a good idea also altho I have yet to use it to cover the pool. I have two boys - 9 and 13 - and different friends who come round to enjoy - be ready with a splash zone!. They have had immense safe fun with no problems so far. I also take dips myself when the boys are out of the way and have appreciated. Yes, the drain - make sure it is pointed out from your house, not towards it! - is a little higher than the base, which to me is very sensible even if some baling work will be required as the water drops to that level when emptying. All in all, this has already been a good buy for the price and has been a really worthwhile investment in terms of fun.
This is a great pool for the money. Our backyard is to hilly for a pool so we utilized the side yard and this fit perfect for the space. Unfortunately we are on pool number 2 :( but beacuse it was such a good buy we bought the same pool wen we needed a replacement. #1 issue TERRIBLE TO DRAIN. I would suggest buying ALL the recommended accessories. Pool #1 broke after we tried to tip it (as suggested) to help get water to the VERY HIGH pool drain spout. Do not recommend tipping! For pool #2. I purchased the pump, cover, vacuum, skimmer net, floor covering (the pool will easily puncture from rocks) . I regret not getting the chemicals (which we r ordering Friday) because after 2 weeks or so I still got algea and stinky water. Draining was a little easier because we ... THIS unit changed our lives, literally. Our Summer 2022 was an absolute THRILL. This pool turned our backyard into PARADISE. I put it together myself and it was a challenge, although the instructions were good and there are excellent YouTube videos you can follow, that are easy to understand. I do recommend having at least 2 people available to set it up, even tho I went for it and set it up alone. after putting the pool together for the 1st time and filling it with water, the sides started to bow out like it was going to cave in and all the water spilled out.So, we emptied all the water and made sure we had the pool together correctly, and we did as per instructions, we filled the pool again, but did it in stages. so every few inches filled, we made sure all the legs were at the right place and tweeked them if needed.and after a full day of that, it bowed again... we even tapped around the brackets to the legs, so we knew exactly where the center was.I had the previous yrs model for 3 seasons and never had this kind of problem.I'm about to take it down and return and try a different brand.oh, and my husband even built a support to brace the legs from ...
